When will they make it easier to attach photos here? I've seen photos of Paul at the premiere, and of Paul at the "A Hard Day's Night" premiere, saying he is wearing the same jacket! Does look like it! I've always heard Paul collects and saves everything...(counting on some of you photo-posting experts to post the photos, thank-you!) Update: Paul has confirmed it IS the same jacket! http://www.rte.ie/entertainment/2016/0915/816680-the-beatles-paul-mccartney-ringo-starr/ "McCartney revealed that he was wearing the same jacket as he had worn at the premiere of The Beatles movie A Hard Day's Night in 1964." Love it!
haha I love that!! When I saw the footage yesterday, that was my first thought, "that jacket reminds me of the 1964 jackets they used to wear' I didn't think it was the ACTUAL jacket.

Didn't want to ruin it for others with specifics , but as other people of have said , there are colour segments of Washington and Blackpool . Its not colour footage perse - its clearly colourised. The cymbal colour for a start is a big giveaway ! There is colour cinefilm footage of Washington - I'm sure its interspersed with the black and white footage in the extended version of Anthology. They've obviously used that as a reference when colouring the clip on Eight Days a Week , and its absolutely marvellous. As I mentioned earlier , its a shame we only got 1 song from the Colliseum, and other gigs. I would rather have had more concert footage and less stills with studio banter. I can't believe they are contemplating not putting Shea out as a DVD extra ! Unless we are going to get a proper live compendium , of shea , Hollywood Bowl , Washington et al . I'd be all for that... They can't leave it unreleased ... surely!
Hi stuartshire! Lets not say anything yet, lets let our fellow Beatles fanatics see the movie and judge it for themselves.
As I mentioned in my post., I only mentioned specifics after several other people had already "let the cat out of the bag" Not guilty!

Do you mean Ringo's cymbals are the wrong color? What did they do, make them gold instead of silver?
Yeah, the cymbals were very " willy Wonka " style gold! ð??? Other than that - awesome! For me the blue carpet was very much just in the same vein as the promotional stuff colouring - poster / Hollywood Bowl album cover.. Either that or its a tribute to the blue meanies ð???

I was just going off to find a photo, but you beat me to it! Paul really liked that jacket I guess!

Thanks, Nancy and oobu! I knew I could count on you two for photos! I think it's great! Another quirky reason I can't help but love Paul!

I read what you said earlier...about posting pics. If they are "somewhere" (out there on the net) just right click on it & choose the copy image address. Then here you click on the image button, then paste in your addy of the pic & then click on the img button again. Voila! Pic posted.

Thanks...yeah, I thought I knew how to do it, but it seems you must save your photos to one of those photo places online? I only keep photos "local." I've tried copy and paste, which I use for saving for myself or sharing with friends, but it didn't work from the original source for this site. I'll try it using the actual address one of these days, but I really wish you could just copy and paste like most everywhere else allows! In the meantime, I really do rely on you two! Tis appreciated!

Yeah, that would be nice if we could justpost the pic that easily. I don't want to save every pic either. But as I said if it is somewhere on the net...be it newspapers or from a google search you can do it if you have the address. I wish you could embed youtubes here too. I keep mentioning that thinking maybe one day... :

I SAW IT! I'm not going to spoil it for everyone, all I will say is that all of you are going to love it!
I agree wholeheartedly! Fantastic film! Long lines and almost full at both showings tonight in Encinitas. People of all ages, mesmerized, clapping and cheering during the film. It was awesome!

Don't know whether to watch this or not tickets are quite expensive for the cinema at ?17 each
Yikes! It's $12 here (about 15.60 GBP)
12 $ are not 15.60 Pounds, more like 9.25 (1 $ equals around 0,77 GBP)
