John, George and Ringo solo albums!

Double Fantasy should've been called Single Reality. And only contained John songs. With the "leftovers" from that session or time added on, at the expense of Yoko's songs. I love all John's songs from that album. It is a beauty. Not sure if it was ready to go at the time, but Nobody Told Me is one of my favorite John songs ever. Dynamic. Bouncy. Brilliant. Imagine is a great album. Gimme Some Truth and Oh My Love. What songs. So too the underrated debut. "God" is just a delight to the ears and lifts all sorts of stuff out of my stomach and heart every time I hear it. Emotionally powerful. One of his greatest songs. And I think Cloud Nine from George was a great comeback. Wonderful album. All Things Must Pass of course great. I cannot comment on Ringo's solo output. For whilst I have all the Beatles, John and Paul albums, most of George's..... I do not have one single Ringo album. Love the guy, still. But I do like "Wrack my Brain."
"Not sure if it was ready to go at the time, but Nobody Told Me is one of my favorite John songs ever. Dynamic. Bouncy. Brilliant. " Me too, it is the only Lennon solo song on my IPOD - lol.

I do like "Wrack my Brain."
I have requested "Wrack My Brain" be added to Ringo's setlist several times. Love that song. As far as the Fab's solo albums I enjoy several Ringo solo albums, obviously "Ringo"&"Goodnight Vienna" but I also enjoy "Time Takes Time" and the Mark Hudson albums (as corny as the lyrics can get) I love Ringo Rama over the years that may have become my favorite Ringo album. John's solo albums have some incredible songs but to me his solo catalog is up and down. All his albums have solid singles and you can find quite a few great album tracks over his catalog. When they released the "Lennon" box back in the '80's they removed the Yoko songs from "Double Fantasy" and "Milk And Honey" and in my opinion disc 4 of that box is incredible. I have always connected with George's songs very strongly. I enjoy his entire catalog for many different reasons. His solo catalog is my favorite by a wide margin. Depending on my mood I can go to an album by any of the ex Fab's and find enjoyment Beatles fans are very lucky, we have the untouchable Beatle catalog but then we also have the solo songs of John, Paul ,George and Ringo all of which have great solo songs.

Was the George tour that bad?
People we're booing...thats what I've read. Having Ravi onstage at a rock concert probably not a good idea in the 70's.
Put it this way. He never did another major tour again.

For anyone interested in George's music, all of his albums are being reissued on Vinyl next week on Feb. 24th, one day before his 74th birthday, and there will be a box set and individual albums too. Live in Japan will be on vinyl for the first time. CD's will also be reissued. https://georgeharrison.lnk.to/VinylCollection

You're missing a lot of great music. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

George's best albums are from the '70s and '80s, and one from 2002.
