good to hear. I was just looking for that one on their twitter

Lots of news today. Fun. Fingers crossed for Orlando...
-
yes fun, since we are not used to getting most of the schedule all at once! But this also means that many of these tickets are going to go on sale on the same day/same time. That's a bit nervewracking... :

Just a wild and fun guess, while we wait for the dates to drop tomorrow.... maybe the surprise is that Paul and Ringo will tour together? run concurrent concerts in the same city, maybe even night and then crossover to do some Pepper tunes?
I don't think either of them would want that kind of pressure on them. If Paul and Ringo ever play together, it's more of a spontaneous one-off special event... they wouldn't do a series of shows. Plus, Ringo's already got his own tour plans in Oct/Nov. Also, doing concurrent shows in the same city like you described, it would make Ringo's shows look pretty underwhelming by comparison.. One night #1, here's Paul doing the Mega-Enormo-Dome, and then on night #2, here's Ringo at the local performing arts center.
PLEASE! Keep them separate!

So here's the recap: Near Definite: Detroit, MI:
Des Moines, IA: Syracuse, NY: Maybe: Orlando, FL: Saskatoon, CAN: -
I really want Orlando and/or Syracuse to happen, especially if Texas isn't happening in this round of announcements or even this year. I'm continuing to check all the major Texas venues for teasers...

Well, so far, I have more faith in Syracuse than Orlando... But fingers crossed you get both.

Again, I'm very surprised he's playing at an amphitheater, with Tinley Park. With the exception of Hollywood Bowl, which is different, he hasn't played at any amp in the USA since 1993, with the New World Tour tv special from Charlotte. Self edit - Yeah, I forgot Summerfest at Marcus Amphitheatre in Milwaukee was also an amp... ok.
I never thought he'd play here. Its big, but not as big as Wrigley, Soldier, or Lolla. I've seen a lot of concerts here...for $25 on the lawn...$70-100 for seats. I would imagine that wouldnt be the case if this becomes a Macca gig.
I hate that Tinley Park venue, I really do.
If it was Allstate Arena I would go.

Orlando would have to be at a specific time anyways (July 27th-August 7th), while Syracuse is more flexible, so it may be better anyways.

This has been a fun day on the board and it's not over yet! So with MSG in September puts some merit in the Detroit tweet as now we know Paul will be in the states at that time
-
wow. We're at ten rumored shows right now for tomorrow. It would be incredible if they are all announced together. I imagine there still are one or two if it's true. At first I thought this may be Paul, but it turned out to be Zac Brown:

Well the timing is favorable and the station teasing it is a rock station. Hope it pans out.

And remember that "living legend" radio station hint for Nassau Coliseum in the fall? Several pages back. That now fits much better, too.

Right?! He played there in '89 on World Tour. Dont think hes been back since. No need really, given the United Center's larger capacity.

Well the arenas have been most helpful with some of their obvious clues.
