What a great gig one of the best concerts I have ever been warm sunshine great songs. Bought myself a tshirt & programme. I will post some of my fav pictures tommorow aswell as videos.

yeah i know he didnt, oh well im not really bothered the whole show was amazing. ill be adding my videos onto youtube tomorrow after some much needed sleep. someone on here posted a link to a news site, daily mail i think ? and it had an article about people paying 800 quid to see the soundcheck, according to a security guy that was all false ? my girlfriend cut her foot on the merchandise stall barrier because they had it set up wrong, and when she was gettin sorted i was telling her about that and the security guy said it didnt happen lol

Wow. What a day... I dunno where to start. I will probably post a full report once I'm back home but some highlights: * soundcheck: incredibly awesome!!! 20 songs (including Mull 3x), a whole lot different than the Dublin soundcheck (I wrote down that setlist so I wouldn't have to write down everything myself but 13 songs were different). * the gig: well..... My ticket was in AA6, row D (4th row from the front). People were planning to go up front but security was hell, the moment you stood up from your chair (like people did during the support act) they came at you and told you to sit down. Sooooo.... I talked to Paul's assistent (I'm too tired, I forgot her name, she's a sweety) and asked her if it was ago if we were gonna stand up. She told us to go ahead. She went to have a talk with security and yes, they let us stand. So we stood up still around 4th row untill a security guard moved us to front row!! So all of a sudden we were leaning against the front fence!!! We were sorta in between Brian and Paul. And we sang (well, sorta) and danced our asses off all night long!!! It was IN-CRE-DI-BLE!!! Some changes in the setlist: Drive my car was added He did not play Looking Through You and Two Of Us He did play I've Just Seen A Face And of course there was Mull!!! Great, great bagpipe band. There's not gonna be a better gig than this one. No way will I ever end up on front row again. Now I'm gonna check my pics real quick (I did video Live And Let Die, which is really loud when you're that close to the stage) and then I'm really off to bed!!!

Ohhh he was amazing, back tomorrow, need some sleep and for it all to sink in!!

A wonderful gig.The fourth time I have seen him,and probably the best I have seen him.A fanatastic varied set. If anyone tries to tell you that Paul can't sing very well any more, feel free to tell them on my behalf that they are talking utter rubbish. His singing for the ENTIRE gig was excellent tonight - better than Glasgow SECC 20 years ago. The scaremongers who talked about thousands of empty seats were also talking through a hole in their you know where.Apart from a couple of tiny patches of empty seats the gig was more or less full. I was so happy to at last take my wife, my 72 year old dad and 68 year old mum and my three young boys to see Paul live in Glasgow. They all enjoyed it so much. Paul actually genuinley seemed taken aback at the reception he was getting. He used much of the usual speil - but thats cool. Many people would have been seeing this for the first time. It's just that when,he kept on thanking the crowd, there was something simple and heartfelt about it - as if he really sensed how glad we were that he came back.I haven't noticed that at any other of his gigs I've been to. ...and the fireworks - WOW On behalf of my family, thank you SO much Paul Mccartney.

All false? How? When? Where? I loved the soundcheck package. But I'm not gonna do it anymore. Once was perfect. That's it.

Thanks for your great report, for taking the time to put this up after a long but great day. Glad to hear he pulled a big crowd and the Glasgow Herald had it wrong.
