love2travel here. I have to agree with jl4761. None of the You Tubes that I've seen, do any justice to the brilliant performance by Paul and the band!!! Wow, we were front and center and not back too far. The crowd was so excited to see Paul too... That's why I really enjoy festivals, they're so much more of a communal feeling.
Was really so excited to see that Paul played some tunes from his new album!!! We were singing away with the crowd and having a great time. jl4761 knows how to have a great time and has a booming voice too... I even heard him on the You Tubes LOL
Wish we could see the live show, Oobu's link didn't work.
Not sure if those links will rerun the show or not. But I'm sure someone will.
Why do you want to see it on video so bad, jl4, y'all were there at the concert and will be there next weekend...oh, is it cause you and LovestoTravel were so close to the stage "front and center," and you'll be shown in the audience...did you both wear Sgt. Pepper costumes? LOL, don't know where I got that idea, if you didn't
Hi Susy! I love that concert so much that I want to own it on DVD! I want to relive October 5, 2018 over and over again! If it doesn't get released, I promise that I will find it on bootleg DVD! L2T and I can't wait to see Paul again this coming weekend!
I downloaded the boot already. I'll send you a pm.
Thank you oobu! I sent you an e-mail back!

Found the whole concert on YouTube:
He really does sound in good voice. I do think he needs to give Come On to Me a bit more energy vocally, though. The instrumentation is fairly pulled back and relies on the vocal to drive it and the delivery's just a bit too laid-back, I think. It's like how he delivers the verses of Let Me Roll It which works for that song but not this.

I saw the vid up until "My Valentine," it was 4:30 a.m. and I finally conked out then, but they put on a very good and fun show, what I saw of it. I want to see it all. I even thought I saw Wix playing guitar in the background on one of the first numbers! Rusty struck some smashing poses and Paul had some fancy British sounding flourishes here and there in his vocals, which I liked. Paul played some intricate finger picking on his colorful, special, fancy red guitar he brought out! Their spot offered very high energy with the new horn section, which adds a lot, actually out in the midst of the audience during one song! Which offered striking visuals. The kids were packed in like sardines, and I couldn't pick JI4 and Luvs2Travel out of the massive crowd, in the crowd scenes displayed. Austin also had a big time with the recent huge music rally show Willy Nelson headlined for Democrat Senate contender Beto O'Rourke.
More excitement is upcoming with next weekend's Macca and Band Texas festival show ! Another big gig to anticipate !

And Abe was beating the hell out of his drums, it was super !

I just purchased both Paul McCartney Austin City Limits 5 October and 12 October 2018 shows on CD and DVD! Both DVD's and CD's are Pro-Shot and Soundboard and are factory pressed CD's and DVD's and not cheap CD-R's and DVD-R's! I'll let all of you know when I get them, I know they will be good.
