It will be interesting to see if anything new comes into the set list. Given recent history, I'm not holdingmy breath.

At this stage I'd be happy with the same set, as long as the vocals were strong, not the same stories, and no ridiculous pics of Kanye and Rhianna to try to be hip.

Ok, its showtime. where are the posts?

Betting its the same opener, same everything. Sigh... How hard would it be to put I Don’t Know (best song on the album) on the set list? How about Helen Wheels for an opener? Yeah right.

Come On to Me
Let Me Roll It

Vocals sound a bit rough. Doesn't bode well for the rest of the tour. I won't be seeing him this time around. Same set, same predictability, not worth the $$$ at this point.
-
Setlist is just so stale. What a disappointment. Freshen up? Really?

He looks good.
Maybe his voice will warm up after a few gigs. (fingers crossed)

sounds like another great show! Happy you enjoyed it,

I personally thought his voice sounded better than it has in quite awhile. A few clunkers here and there but that’s to be expected. Being the first show was definitely a plus vocal wise. Quite a few new videos behind him and yes the riser stage is still there. From where I was in the third row the pit in front didn’t seem to have as much junk in it but I could be wrong about that. And he didn’t do the reading of the signs.

Thanks to you and Carlos for your reviews! What did you think of the horn section? I think they are great and do add a lot to the songs they are used on. I just remembered that last night was the first show they've done in the US.

The horns were fabulous! I honestly didn’t think it was going to make a difference. But I was wrong. They really were phenomenal!
