For those on water patrol, we had 2 drinks of water tonight. Had the Save Us/Can't Buy Me Love combo instead of Junior's Farm/All My Loving. Besides that, everything was same.
Actually he has not done Save Us yet at these US shows, last night was the first. He has rotated All My Lovin with Can't Buy Me Love. So I saw Juniors Farm and Cant Buy Me Love in Lexington. But back to Madison, great show, I think he lingered a bit longer on the I've Got A Feeling guitar jam at the end. Nobody brought up on stage.
Sounds like you saw another great show, very jealous, but happy for you and the gang! Did Dave get a shout out as usual from the Man?
He sure did! He even mentioned him while telling the Russian story, about how many times he's probably heard it. Here's a good review that mentions him:
That's awesome, so happy for Dave!!!

Berniecat I spotted your sign! One setlist change....Save Us instead of Juniors Farm
I thnk Paul might have noticed it. He mostly ignored our side of the stage but once he glanced over, squinted, sort of did a quick double take as if to say, "Really?" So, yes, I highly recommend anyone with an adventurous spirit and a cast iron stomach to visit northern Pakistan. It is specacular. I'd even offer to serve as Paul's personal tour guide!

That was a takeoff on George in AHDN “Who’s this Susan when she’s at home?”
You didn’t exactly answer my question: Like, is he a boardie here? Is he a friend of my friend Rick Glover? It is a given that he is a huge fan and a favorite of Paul’s if he refers to him in a story - what did he say in the Russian story about him?

I don't think Dave is a boardie. Yes he is a friend of Rick's. Paul just said something about how he tells this story at all his shows so the guy who has seen 123 shows has heard it 123 times.

While the review was relatively short, I loved this review. It really shows the impact that Paul has on a smaller type city and even more rural type America areas. I often wandered why Paul didn't follow the same "stay in the same big city (e.g. Las Vegas or NYC) like Elton or Billy Joel" and let the fans come to him. On surface, it would seem so much easier for a star of his magniture and age. I now further appreciate Paul hitting these secondary US markets where so many more first timers have the chance of a lifetime of seeing a real Beatle perform. This type of show in the secondary markets (Paul performing so many of his Beatle hits) will be talked about for years.

Help! Did anyone record video during Queenie Eye? Or right after when he’s at the magic piano before going into Hey Jude?
Paul noticed and pointed at me. Haven’t been able to find anything on YouTube so far.
Also, hadn’t seen him since the NY metro area shows in 2017. Mainly did it for the live horn section and it didn’t disappoint. Gives an amazing punch to those horn heavy songs.
