Chayce Becham, the new American Idol winner, sang "Blackbird," in the finals last night....the judges choice for him. He did okay but got a few lyrics bungled. The corect lyrics after "...take these sunken eyes" are "and learn to see." (I believe that is correct...that they are"and learn to see.") He, instead, sang "...and learn to fly," which are the lyrics for"take these broken wings..... and learn to fly." He got that part correct...for the wings. Anyway, he won, so it's all okay.

I hated Joe Cocker's version of, With A Little Help From My Friends. Terrible throaty voice warbling. Just hated it.

I love Joe Cocker's version. The backup singers are terrible though. I heard the real backups got stuck in traffic (this was Woodstock) so members of the band took over.
