Not a good idea....to me.

Great idea from my point of view... maybe because I have a ticket for Glastonbury 2020/2021/2022 since 2019

Although I'm pretty sure Paul will play,as of right now, he still hasn't been officially confirmed as playing, despite what The Sun might believe.

I love Paul but I'm really hoping he doesn't do Glasto! I love his live shows as they're such a joy & the atmosphere is incredible but his tv performances never come off well. The backlash he got from the Jubilee & Olympics was awful! Hoping for a UK/European tour to be announced later on but we'll see.

I'm with you 100% there. Fans are more forgiving of the state of his voice at a gig (you don't notice it so much when you're singing along and the rest of the band are helping out) but the general public will listen to the Glasto broadcast, hear that he doesn't sound like he did 40/50 years ago and the slagging off will reach a crescendo.

We predicted this.

Yes they confirmed Paul's appearance at Glastonbury on the radio earlier, has been 18 years since he last played, in a way thats good for the organisers esp after having no festival for the last 2 years.
-
I only know 11 of the performers. Well, 12 if you count Noel Gallagher and his band that I've never heard of!

Big night in England on June 25th...Paul at Glastonbury and the Stones at Hyde Park!
-
Does anyone know if there's still any way to get tickets to Glastonbury? Or at least only for Paul's show?
I've heard it all has been sold our for 2 years already, but trying to find a way to buy a ticket anyway

I would imagine the Glastonbury tickets are sold out esp after there not being a festival for 3 years. Never been myself and not sure if there are secondary sites offering a ticket package.

Just noticed that St Vincent was playing Glasto today. Wouldn't it be great if she was to join Paul on stage tomorrow for a version of Wonen and Wives? Seems bonkers to have it as a Record Store Day release (and RSD song of the year) and then ignore it in his shows. (Btw I know the above won't happen).

For info - Paul and the band are due on the Pyramid stage at 10.32 tonight (UK time obviously)

10:32? You sure it's not 10:33?

Lol! And it was wrong into the bargain! That's when it's on telly on BBC 1. I think he's actually due on stage about 9.30 (ish!).
