Glad you had great vacation Nancy and all appears to have went very well.
Yes, the train strikes didn't affect us, and the Queen hung in there until after we left!
It was just pretty exhausting for me first of all because I'm out of shape and second I have only one working lung. My right diaphragm is elevated and stuck to my lung so doesn't work properly. My pulmonologist didn't recommend surgery as he said it was too risky, but I've started to research the procedure. I'm going to contact this group of thoracic surgeons and see if they do any surgery at Northside Gwinnett Hospital (where I used to work in the O.R. - 5 miles away) or if they only work at the original Northside Hospital and several others, the closest of which is 15 miles away. They specifically mention that they do the procedure (hemidiaphragmatic plication) on their website. I've had bronchitis for almost a month, but definitely almost over it. I get so out of breath doing the least little thing. I don't think I can exercise to lose weight under these conditions and the plication would help immensely! Here's some more pics:

Nancy - thanks for the pictures, really enjoyed them. Good luck with your lung issues, I am sure it is not easy dealing with it.

@njr If you haven't visited The Casbah Coffee Club in Liverpool already then I thoroughly recommend a visit. I went in 2008. Best £10 I ever spent. I belive the price has gone up now, but still worth a visit.:-)

@wandy Been to the Casbah in 2011 & 2016. Am friends irl with Roag Best. He was so busy this past Aug. we were never able to get together. ️
