Paul McCartney 2023 Rumors
-
@annika no mention of dates. With Mexico announcements incoming my best guess would be no sooner than spring 2024.
-
@casp
Sorry to hear of that terrible news. Prayers for yourself and family. -
For Mexico, in the official announcement, Paul is quoted as saying "I'm very excited to say I'm coming to Mexico to play some gigs with my Got Back tour in November. " I've emphasized the plural in gigs.
November 12th through the 22nd is available at the venue - so the additional show could very well be either before on the 13th or a day later on the 15th.
Any rumors regaring additional South American shows? He could very well squeeze in Argentina or Chile as had been speculated in those 15 days before the first Brazil date.
-
Does anyone know if there is any rumour of there being any warm up shows in the UK? Possibly a small venue?
-
I'm still hoping that on what might turn out to be his last tour (he is 81, after all) Paul plays nothing but songs from Egypt Station, McCartney III and, just for the hell of it, Back to the Egg.

Hey, I didn't say it was likely, just that it would be fun. But at least maybe he'll surprise everyone and invite the audience to sing along to "Hey Jude"!

Good. Then we agree.

Seriously, I long ago gave up on Paul doing anything like my dream set list, and at this point his voice isn't really up to it anymore (since my dream show would have to include both "Old Siam Sir" and "Oh! Darling!"). That's life. I'm not going to see Paul again -- 6 times is enough -- but I'm sure those who do will have fun.

There are now rumors of an European tour in 2023. No details regarding dates or places.
Maybe a Christmas show?

Totally agree. Not going to see him again unless I win that meet-and-greet contest!

I love when he does these less common songs.
When I saw him he played Live and Let Die. There were fireworks and everything! -
