Omaha goes on sale tomorrow morning too. Good luck if you try...if you get some, watch for a thread about a get together before the Omaha show. I cant beleive how far away it is, now that I have tickets.

Tomorrow morning-I really don't think there will be a problem for us to get tickets-maybe not in the first 5 rows but I think all will get tickets. I am too broke to afford anything but the middle or lower end seats anyway so... Anyway Des Moines only 6 hours from STL so I will be there.

To foreveramber and mspeel 007...I envy you your KC seats in '93 I saw him in KC in '93...my first time to see him in concert. When I called to get tickets, I got in right at first and could have gotten row 9, but paying attention to a friend who said "don't get field level" (what was he thinking?!?) and being new to concerts, I turned them down and got first level about 3 sections back. (I've never forgiven him ) Anyway, the next time I got 12th row and now I'm 2nd row in Omaha! And I'll be trying for DesMoines like everyone else also! I'm so glad he's coming back around...and hopefully this won't be our last time seeing him!

That has to be the most confusing website ever to purchase tickets off of I finally got someone on the phone who told me how to do it and I will be in Section F1, down on the floor! Yeah!

What row??

Row T, Seat 11, but it was so frustrating. The website makes it look like you need a promo code, when all you have to do is click on the picture to buy tickets. I could have been much closer if I had known that 45 minutes ago.

I agree with you Maccascruff - I didn't realize you needed to click on Paul's name as the link to buy tickets - there was no instruction telling you to do that. Why didn't it go straight to the "buy tickets" screen when you clicked BUY next to his name? I probably refreshed for 15 minutes (what a waste) waiting for a buy screen to appear. I was LUCKY to say the least - in Section 104, Row G, seats 3-4--still the best seats I've had for a Paul show yet. I was doing phone at the same time and couldn't get in. I was beginning to panic as you can imagine. I've still been trying just in case I could get something better - nothing so far but you never know. Sometimes the on-line system comes back and tells me there's nothing left at all! I want to make this clear - I'm not blaming Paul for this ordering site but the venue! Anyway, just glad I have to seats secured How did everyone else do??

Hi, guys! That was ABSOLUTELY the least user-friendly site I've ever used for ticket purchasing. I had that same thing happen with the promo code, but I had opened a second window, due to my impatient clicking, and I finally figured out how to get past it. I managed to get floor 1, 7th row. Whether I'm able to come to the show depends on what tix I'm able to get later today or this week for L.A. and Anaheim. I'm SO desperate to get close seats to the stage, that I'm willing to travel in order to do so. (By the way, 2nd row seats for Anaheim are listed on ebay for $3750.00, so now maybe you'll understand why I tried for Des Moines.) If I end up not coming to the Des Moines show, I'll sell the tix here for face value.

I forgot to say that I got 2 seats together.

I GOT MY TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!.....FINALLY AFTER 39 effin minutes of calling and clicking. That site sucks I agree with everyone that said it was confusing. I did the same thing click on Pauls link and what the F promo code I don't have no promo code!!!! Oh maybe if I click on Paul something will happen. Ah yes there we go. And then I chose my seats and was told the wait would be 3mins. More like 10, I was getting a bit nervous so I opened a new page and did it again. Then I got worried that I was slowing things down for myself so I closed the second page that was still waiting along with the first one. When the first one finally went through the confirm page was wierd. I finally figured out that the damn thing remembered the second page and I had 4 tix and my girl would have gone crazey if I bought 4 (I'm using her CC). As I was filling out the info I hit enter before I was finished. It said unable to secure tix...press here to try again. So I did that and POOF my tix are gone. So I had to start over again and wait and wait and got tix again, was very carefull of my typing skills and secured tix. FLOOR SEC 2 ROW A SEATS 5-6!!!!!!!! I can't believe that I'm on the floor for a Macca show!!! I hope everyone get some tix and now all we have to do is wait

I wasn't confused by the ticket ordering system as I had scoped it out a few days in advance. However, I had my window open before ten and as ten came and went, the pop up window still said "Ticket's on sale at 10:00". I started to panic and opened a new browser and then it let me in. The page didn't automatically let you in if you already had the window open like ticketmaster does. I did get two tickets in Section 103 Row G for my father and I. Glad I didn't get the floor though. Alot of money to spend for a college kid, but it is Paul McCartney. Hope to see you all there!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought so - I was worried about it as this is the first major event for that arena (it's not even finished yet) and there was no way to "practice". I think we should all send the arena feedback to that effect and perhaps they'll make it more user friendly in the future. I know they are going to try to compete with KC, St. Paul, and Omaha so there should be a good chance of Iowa finally getting some top-notch shows

I failed to mention that the first time I tried to click on "Paul McCartney" on the main page, that link disappeared and instead, I ended up clicking on the Shriner's Circus. Did that happen to anyone else? :

I TOTALLY agree with everyone about the Iowa ticket site!!!! Thank GOD at about 10:02 I figured to click on the other button, or I would probably still be sitting here!!!!! I got section 118, Row A,seat 11!!!!!I about threw up after it was all over!!!!

I do have one GOOD thing to say about the site. There was no "convenience" charge and it only cost $3.00 for mailing the tickets. Take that, Ticketmaster!!!

Yes, but there was still a $12.50 for 2 $176 tickets - wouldn't that be a convenience fee?? Plus the $3 mailing charge. It is cheaper than TM, however, so I'm not complaining. I have sent an e-mail to the guy in charge of the Events Center telling him what problems/confusions some of us had with their system. I also asked why Des Moines was not included in the pre-sale - there's no reason they couldn't have been. So as not to be a totaly rag, I did tell him how pleased I was that this arena is even happening in our state and that they did a great job in securing a Paul show

While I am glad to see Paul in the city where I grew up, that website and this ticket buying experience was the worst I've ever had in my life! I couldn't figure it out until I did get someone on the phone who told me what to do. I don't consider myself stupid and I wasted 45 minutes on that stupid site before I got to the tickets. It said 3 minutes, but it didn't take that long for a ticket to come up, probably because I was looking for a single. I got my info entered in plenty of time. I've had an email from a friend who works for KCCI and he said he couldn't figure it out either and was going to propose the problem as a story. He did finally figure it out and got decent seats, but nothing like we all could have if that site was just a little user friendly. I wasted my entire morning and was in a total state of panic. I had the cell phone in one hand, the other phone in the other and working the internet. I'm just glad I finally picked a phone number to call where I got something other than voice mail and the guy told me what to do. Wish I knew who I talked to, so I could thank him.

My mom got our tickets today!
