Didn't someone say that they saw the cigar-box thingy on stage last night?

Yeah, I do remember someone saying they spotted the cigar-box guitar. But I think Paul takes all of his instruments along with him when he tours?

I got two feet away from Paul. Surreal!!
Let's get some deets!

Does anyone know if Paul did one of his usual pre-soundcheck interviews with a local radio station? I always enjoy those.

Here's the full "On My Way To Work":
Just love the way he says "Albany"! Guess no one told him the first syllable is more like "all" than "Al".Thanks for posting that! Sounded great and I really hope he keeps that in the set!

Just love the way he says "Albany"! Guess no one told him the first syllable is more like "all" than "Al".Cool. While I may have wished for a song like "I Can Bet", it is still nice hearing something else from "New". Thanks for sharing.
yankeefan7 Thanks so much for posting On My Way To Work! Really enjoyed that... Hope Paul keeps that one in It would be awesome if he added I Can Bet also...Wow what a fun song! I think its so great that Paul takes the time to invite some of his fans up on stage! He's not someone who is above everyone else, he really seems to genuinely enjoy the interactions. How amazing that, that couple could get engaged on stage!! I'm sure they will talk about that moment for the rest of their lives...it was very kind of Paul That's just the kind of nice guy that Paul is..... What songs did he play in the soundcheck? Anyone?

Fabulous show last night! One of my favorites. So much energy. Even more than past years I thought. Band on the Run sounded the best I've ever heard it.
-
"On My Way To Work" sounds really good live!

Just got back from Albany where my buddy and I had VIP Gold tickets--4th row center stage! Amazing show and he played a long concert! Got some great pics and videos...need to go thru them. I did meet one guy from this board. Who else was there?? Thought we'd have more time to socialize but things were a bit rushed. We had a great time though!!

Thank you Paul & the band for a FANTASTIC Show in Albany, NY !!!! Not only was your performance GREAT, but you also gave us a long show as well. In a time where 45 minutes is considered a "show" you guys delivered three hours of fantastic music. Best wishes as you continue on your American tour. We loved you, and thank you !!!!!

The VIP swag: Out There/Paul McCartney CheckMate backpack by Leeds. Out There/Paul McCartney guitar pick handed out by Shelley. Out There 58-page tour book/program. Paul McCartney black beverage flask. Out There 2014/Paul McCartney laminate on necklace. I still have my untorn original concert ticket as they just scanned it which was nice. I also grabbed a couple handfuls of the red, white, and blue confetti that rained down at the end of the show.

Yes we did Soundcheck! I chatted with a board member there for a bit but don't remember his name. Soundcheck was ok--I think the Gold VIP ticket holders should have been allowed a quick meet and greet with Paul and the band. Soundcheck lasted a good 45 minutes. The buffet and hospitality suite was a bit small for the number of people attending and I thought it might be more relaxed, but we got a seat and chatted with a few nice folks. They didn't limit the complimentary beverages which was nice! Concert was excellent especially from my vantage point. Seats were tight on the floor. Guy next to my buddy was taking up more than one chair! We had to finally get him to switch seats with his wife. A lot of the ticket cost must have been put back into the production as they went all out with a feast for the eyes and ears. Having Paul about 25-30 ft in front of me for 3 hours was priceless!

Review in Rolling Stone http//www.rollingstone.com/music/news/paul-mccartney-bounces-back-in-albany-20140706 I can only add to the review that Paul took off with electrifying energy through every song and the crowd did not stop roaring its approval during the entire show. A night of sheer joy and love for Paul and the audience!
