Never heard this before, but right after the 5th beat of the song I can hear some faint backing vocals of sorts--what are they singing/saying and whose voice is it? My hearing is not stellar any more , but just out of curiosity what do you hear there? Great George Harrison song BTW...doesn't George's voice sound great double tracked like they did on his earlier songs?

I suspect that is some conversation in the studio bleeding through a track or accidently left on a track when it was "bounced."

See this is the digital remastered world we live in. None of this stuff was ever heard on the original vinyl. Especially in mono on one-speaker home record players. Everything was buried. Remastering brings out warts and all. For better or worse. It's a testament to their productions that most of it still sounds fantastic!

Which album are you listening to? Yeah, the double-tracking sounds great here. John loved it and wanted all of his songs double-tracked in the early days.

It's on both the Capitol and US Album set. Something there, not sure if it's talking or singing. 5th beat of the song about 3 secs in.
