really, I can't wait. I don't get it, I just know that Paul means quality, so I know that his new music will top of the top

Paul in UK on 9-22? Sure looks like the tracks on the instagram post plus is this a new venue?
Advance tickets for this festival in Darlington are less than £20 so it's safe to rule out Paul playing there.
If tickets were upwards of £60 a day then it could have been a possibility but £20 is far too cheap.
Tracks Festival in Darlington have confirmed Paul is not playing after a surge in ticket sales from people thinking he was because of their similar logos and the fact Tracks muddied the waters somewhat by tagging Paul's official Facebook page in some posts.
Yeah didn't expect it to be true. I thought it was quite obvious that the festival page were just having a joke.
I didn't (like you, I'm not that stupid to think Paul would play a locally funded festival for £20 a ticket) but saw posts on a Paul McCartney fan page on Facebook that he was "definitely" playing it.
Obviously some people bought tickets thinking he *was* playing it because Tracks have said in a statement that they're refunding people who bought tickets thinking it was a done deal.
Honestly, how can some people be so guilible to believe everything they read on the Internet!

Can you give us a clue Bob,like you've done in the past?? Im asking for a...friend.
Unable to help other than to say choices will be thin, do not ignore these in hopes of better or closer shows or be left out. Who knows if they plan more after this (you'd hope) but there are no guarantees

Is there *ANY* chance you can offer any insight on if the US will receive anything? I can't imagine he'd go to cities he just visited last year (and my hometown of Wichita, KS was VERY excited to have him play for us that night!), but as with just about any McCartney fan--I'm dying to see him again! Whether that's KC/OKC/Denver/etc...
(Of course I understand if you can't divulge anything at the moment)

As far as I know not a farewell tour, but who knows whether more shows are being negotiated for later in the year. There are no guarantees

Wouldn't be surprised if there is a midnight drop of the new single followed by some sort of news.

Bob, you are the best! We all respect your position, of being an insider, of being "our guy"in the know... This only happens by not abusing that privilege.
Always appreciated! Feels like Christmas Eve...

We appreciate you giving your insights and opinions, Bob! Makes waiting a little easier. As you said, things will be revealed soon, so will be worth the wait.
RockLobst3r, I'm hoping for Kansas City this time... he hasn't been here since 2014, and it's centrally located, so would be a good choice if he's just doing only a handful of concerts in the US this time. Let's keep our fingers crossed, but will be happy to know he's playing at another venue that can be traveled to as well

Yes, first of all, thank you Bob for all you do! I understand and appreciate that you can not reveal everything. Thank you for what you do though!
And I agree Leslie! I’d love KC, but as I indicated, I’d take OKC or even Denver too.

So just a wild guess, to go along with the limited number of shows thread.
i would speculate on larger venues in major media centers. Repeats of prior recent visits, yes....
thinking that the search for lesser visited areas are over.
I’d like to see him pace himself a bit more this time anyway, maybe a gig or two at the most a week... might hurt the overhead, but I’m thinking the ticket prices will reflect this.

Paul will tour until he drops dead on stage, don’t worry! He’ll still be up there at 85! (And probably beyond!) He loves it too much to quit any time soon.

another post on instagram-
I tend to think now we will not hear anything till next week. Perhaps when he appears on "The Late Late Show?'

Is this a punched train ticket, or concert ticket?

Looks like a train ticket to me.

Definitely a train ticket as his album promotion ramps up.
Hoping for some UK/European dates and less US dates as the US fans have had plenty of chances to see him over the years whilst the UK especially seems to be forgotten about.
