What Is The Extent of Beatles Outtakes on Bootlegs?

Thank you!! I'll give that Sound Check feature a try. Yes, Memory Almost Full was WAY too loud. Speaking of loud, Ringo's stuff always seemed VERY loud...at least his last 4 or 5 albums. I have a solo Beatles "Best of..." on my iPod too and when I use the shuffle mode, it seems dear old Ringo just comes blaring out of the speakers. I thought, "It would be him.....the one who really can't sing all that well". I mean, when "Minefield" plays that blast at the end just sends me flying right out of the chair....that one and "Free Drinks" and "Oh My Lord". Thanks again.
We have a playlist called "Beatles on Steroids" that includes all the group and solo material. That's always fun to shuffle!

We also know in latter years John Lennon was collecting Beatles bootlegs, one suggestion is he leaked some of his own tapes though it can't be proved.
The legend I've heard is that he often traded his Beatle recordings/outtakes with people who collected bootlegs of other artists that he admired like Elvis and whatnot. I have an old Goldmine magazine issue from around '92 that includes an interview with Ringo. He was asked if it was true that John traded Beatle outtakes for boots of other artists, and he simply smiled and replied, in a bit of dark humor, "You'd have to ask John that."
