has died. Too many Beatles folks gone this year! What a character he was! http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/beatles-first-manager-original-jacaranda-12388312 I may have posted this in the wrong place: I see it's been acknowledged in Talk More Talk.

RIP. I think he's always been one of the most "undervalued" members of the Beatles' circle. There would be no Beatles without him. Hard to believe he "released" the Beatles from their contract. Perhaps one of the worst business decisions ever made.

As he was quick to remind people. He was a character indeed. I love his book because I think it gives a colorful picture of those early days in Liverpool and Hamburg, and I recommend it highly. RIP.

I have his book too -- John said it was the only book to read about The Beatles because it is all true!

Williams gave this vivid startling description in his book of the Beatles playing some very rough places where violent fights broke out, and they had to see bloodshed, and rats run across the floors, and they played strip joints (they might not have minded that last venue as much
