Nancy R - I love the t-shirt Mary is wearing but sadly IMO she is just too darn thin.
She had a period when she did look very frail. I think she looks better now.
Still could use another 5-10lbs on her IMO.

I would kill to be that thin again! jk (not kill, but you know what I mean!) I am 5"5" and when I was 18-21 I was only 100-105 which was too thin. I ate anything I wanted and never gained weight. Even when I got pregnant with twins at 31 I weighed 114. And I almost immediately got back down to a size 7 jeans. But as the years rolled by the pounds creep up. In 2014 I lost about 30 lbs. from adding walking on treadmill 45 mins. 5 days a week. No change in my diet, but I was working then, running around the O.R. all the time. Now that I'm retired, it's harder to lose the weight. I've finally gotten back in a routine again after setbacks due to kidney stones, ureteral stent, lithotripsy, cataract surgery on both eyes and getting Covid!

Having had a daughter who had eating disorder issues, it always concerns me when I see people I think are very thin.

Sorry to hear that. Is she okay now?

Too true, mate.... I've been there too with my girl. I fully understand.... All my best.

I have said it before and I will say it one more time, I wish Mary would gain some weight. I know for most people it is the opposite but she looks so gaunt to me especially if she is in picture with Stella. I know women like to wear their hair up or pulled back especially when it is hot but I think most women look better with their hair down in a picture.

Had never seen this photo taken the same day as the one where Heather is sitting sideways in a chair.

Isn't this the photo that Linda sent to Paul from New York, prior to her moving to London for good?

Not that one. She sent the one of Heather in the chair. This one: (she sent it in May 1967 after she got back to NYC. She also sent him the one of all the Beatles where Paul & John are shaking hands and giving the thumbs up.)

Thanks for clarifying that. The photo of Heather is an odd one to send though. The set-up looks as if Heather is missing Paul (ie they had already met) but clearly that can't have been the case.

No - she had told Paul about Heather the night they met and I'm sure she got the impression Paul would be a good father. She was "showing her off" to Paul, imho. Then, when Paul did finally meet her, Linda left them alone to get groceries which helped them bond with each other. Linda was no dummy!

As Heather would have been Linda's priority that was a good plan. If Paul and Heather had not have bonded then there was no point Linda wasting any more of her time.
