Nothing new unfortunately so I'll be skipping this one. Hoping his new studio album will be better than his last couple of efforts.

At first I was gonna say 'zzzzzz...' However this is probably the most comprehensive Ringo Starr set for those whom are trying to seek out his '76-'83 album songs without going broke. I hope since these are presumably remastered songs that a reissue campaign is not far behind. This collection blows away the Photograph: Best of (2007 release) It's a good start! I'm still waiting for the Ringo Starr videography: 1970-2015 But Apple should be renamed Snail; because that's the pace they move for the diehards. Thanks to YouTube I ripped all his promos, from those years, to a DVD.

Good collection I wish this included "La De Da", "Sentimental Journey", ""Sunshine Life for Me (Sail Away Raymond)", "Runaways", "In Liverpool", and "Picture Show Life", and as a bonus track Ringo 2012 "Wings" version.

That's why I shared

Not a bad set at all! I just may go for it actually. Two things surprise me: the absence of "La De Da"...and the unusually large amount of tracks from the Choose Love album.

Surprised about La De Da, however I think Choose Love is Ringo's best LP since the Ringo LP in '73.

Makes no sense that La-de-da is not here. It's probably Ringo''s best later day hit and song. Cool video as well. Just as bad as My Brave Face not on Paul''s latest hits package.

His last couple and the couple before that....and so on have been quite good. Sadly for Ringo....now...it doesn't much matter how good they are. People...in general....don't consider him a solo artist and just won't buy his albums anymore. In the early days, he sold well because of the vast amount of good will left over for the Beatles. Fans that bought those are no longer buying albums....that goes for Paul as well.

Yeah, the concept of the "album" is quickly dying. At this point, I'd rather Paul just release a batch of 3 or 4 songs as he writes them, instead of waiting 5 years for an album's worth of songs. Let fans just purchase the digital stream of the individual songs.

Where's "Touch and Go" from his most recent album....nice rocker and very catchy? And why include the throwaway....."Hey Baby"...yet again... a song he did just so all the people in the studio with him that day could have a sing-along.

I would say his last good album was 'Liverpool 8' and before that, 'Ringo Rama' - parts of 'Choose Love' are okay, but everything from 'YNot' onwards has been pretty lacklustre. In my vie, the reason for the lackluster albums is that he's producing himself now and he doesn't have the knack that Mark Hudson or Dave Stewart have for a good solid sound and ditching the poorer material as it's not up to standard.

I'm wondering if this album's unofficial as it's now seemingly disappeared off Amazon (UK) and it's not been mentioned by Ringo on his official Facebook and Twitter feeds or his official website (which to be fair hasn't been updated for a while!).

I haven't seen anything on this album apart from here. I really doubt this is a legit release...

I know , it's gone

No great loss really, as it didn't actually offer anything new (no pun intended on a McCartney Forum!). I'm looking positively towards his new album and hoping it's a bit better than his most recent efforts. Another UK tour would go down well too - it's been well over six years since he was last here!

Y not Is a great album. I liked the " Ringo 2012 " follow up as well. The sound production on his recent stuff is really excellent. Can't believe the compilation appears to contain the old version of wings. The newer version is a massive improvement.
