I wish men still dressed fancy, like that. I saw that photo of Jane and Paul in the car many times before. Paul's looking at Mick in the train car like he might be thinking, "Well, are the Stones songs better than ours, or not?" Seemed kind of odd to see the Fabs on stage with the Guru as he gave his talk. As if the Fabs were students at uni trying to learn new things. Later on, someone wrote that Paul and Jane said they were too sophisticated to believe in the guru's teachings, and that's why they left his ashram in India, early.

I've only seen a few of those. Awesome pics! Thanks for posting.

Even so, don't forget that Paul still meditates and supports the Transcendental Meditation movement. So does Ringo.

I think it's wonderful they still meditate, too. That's just something I read in a Beatle book or somewhere (about Paul and Jane's reaction to T.M. at the ashram). One time I read that Ringo also became a "born again Christian" in his later years--wonder if that's true.

The Beatles at their absolute peak. 2 days later, Brian dies and the group slowly disentigrates.

It was often claimed in Beatle books for example that "Eppy" wasn't that important to them anymore, once they stopped touring, but apparently he was. Not just on a personal level, but professionally. Because, as the poster noted above, they seemed to lose something as a group from then on, after their beloved manager Brian Epstein's demise. Although they were still fantastic
