I almost bit for the cheaper premium seat(the wife would have killed me!) but I cant afford to pay 600 dollars for a dinner with some signed guitars.Their is no mention of any meet and greet and I have had done VIP travel thing before and did get front row center but that was because of the lottery thing, thee was no meet and greet. Im hoping to get the more expensive ticket Sunday.I have tickets to Vegas but the magic of seeing Ringo and Paul together It will be hard to miss.Im also big on Donovan.Im really thinking he will do a small set because their are so many performers.I can already see the Hey Jude ending with the whole cast and they will probably let Ringo do one or two.I also expect a lot of duets with the likes of Eddie Vedder etc. At least I think we can all get tickets with the pre show code. They said call Ticketmaster.I guess this means no online presales? also does anyone know the best way to get from JFK to Radio City Cab ,shuttle etc

Well Paul must told David the natives are getting restless. I got to wonder if all the complaining this week on the board didn't hurry up the process. I signed up on the DL site but I didn't get any email saying or giving me any password. Hope someone post just incase we all don't get ours. I did get the email 7 hrs ago. Just read it. But I'll be sure to have my finger ready Monday or sunday. Too bad its not this Monday by next week the whole world will know. This is going to be a expensive for us living on the northwest coast as it is. Good luck to everyone!

Glad you've got your e-mail and you are sure you're in the loop with this sale. I'd advise that nobody shares any passwords when you receive them - all the members here have been following this long enough to have registered in time to get this e-mail set up arranged. Whether the password is common to all or unique to just one person posting it here will wipe out any advantage that may come from this. Indeed, if unique, sharing it ahead of ticket sales might destroy your own personal opportunity if tickets are bought using the code ahead of you when released. Whenever we get a pre-sale we get first time posters arriving here asking for them, whilst they may be unfortunate genuine fans that have left it too late to sign up, the possibility that they are opportunists fishing to profit from a re-sale opportunity cannot be ruled out. Best wishes to one and all. Martin

For all non usa (like myself) people: Just be ready to have a US address at hand to complete your ticket order this sunday. A couple of years ago I had the opporunity to buy a Rolling Stones ticket for the Beacon Theatre (NYC), but was unable to complete the TM transaction in 3 minutes because I didn't have a US address at hand! Also create a TM account before!

If you are thinking of going and want to get the cheaper rooms rates of the hotels listed -do it now. The one hotel does not have any of the event discounted rooms left. Try the Marriott. Do it today if you think you need a room. You can cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival and not have to pay anything.

For drumdaddy, There is a Train to the Plane that goes from Kennedy to the Long Island RailRoad. Transfer at Jamaica if necessary for a train to Penn Station which is a cab ride or a 20 minute walk to Radio City.

I saw Ringo and Paul many years back at the Hollywood Bowl, and it was nice, but I wouldn't pay over $1000 to see an abbreviated set list, and Ringo singing along on Hey Jude. I need to think about this one. maybe the Hard Rock is a better deal - even at stubhub prices, at least it will be a full show.

$79.50. That`s a bargain these days.

I was picturing Paul doing Sgt Peppers leading right into With a little help from my friends! I can see it now: Paul singing: BILL-LY SHEARS! Enter Ringo: What would think if I sang out of tune............ That would be priceless!!!!!!!!!!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7924392.stm Beatles stars to play charity gig By Ian Youngs Music reporter, BBC News Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are to appear at a charity concert in New York next month. Sir Paul will headline the concert at the Radio City Music Hall on 4 April, while Starr has been named among a string of special guests. The David Lynch Foundation initially said the pair would perform together. But a spokesman for Sir Paul said a collaboration had not been confirmed and a spokeswoman for Starr said he would perform "a few songs on his own". The David Lynch Foundation, set up by the film director, promotes transcendental meditation in schools. The organisation's UK arm initially said Sir Paul and Starr would "definitely" perform together. But a spokesman later said their reunion had not been finalised. In a statement about the show, Sir Paul said he had practiced transcendental meditation for 40 years. "In moments of madness, it has helped me find moments of serenity," he said. The show will aim to raise enough money to teach one million at risk children to meditate. "I would like to think that it would help provide them a quiet haven in a not-so-quiet world," Sir Paul said. Starr added: "It gives me great pleasure to be part of this evening. I feel the aims of this charity are wonderful." The two Beatles legends last performed together at a tribute concert for George Harrison in 2002. They were joined by Eric Clapton to perform While My Guitar Gently Weeps at the show at the Royal Albert Hall. Sir Paul and Starr, along with Harrison, also played in private in 1994 to record material for their Anthology series. Sheryl Crow, Donovan, Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper and Moby will be among the other musicians taking part in the New York show. Tickets go on sale on Monday. Where is the place specifically on the David Lynch Foundation website where you sign up for the concert info/password? I signed up for general info about the Foundation but never saw anything about requesting specifics for the concert.
