Meet Sir Paul McCartney Charity Auction
-
Charity Buzz is at it again! The auction is for 2 tickets to the US concert of your choice, photograph with winner and guest included. Seat location to be determined. I think this has just been offered. I like to think of it as another reason to believe that his health is not a big concern moving forward!!!

The lot opened yesterday. Proceeds go to LIPA. Current bid is $15,001.

DARN!!!! And my bid was $15,000........
-
What is the most someone from the middle class would actually spend to meet Paul. I just spent $1,000 to get close to him for 3 hours, but to have a conversation and get your picture taken with him. I would spend probably 3 months pay which is about $4,200. Edit: I am not middle class, I am military

If I only had an extra $20,000 lying around..............

First - thank you for your sevice...but anyway, to answer your question. not that I could afford this anyway - but for the amount of this auction, I'd require a personal show from Paul, not just a handshake or photo shoot (and yeah, I get that a lot of richer people would pay in the millions for that privilege)

It's up to 16,001.00 now.

Over $20,000 now and this is what it says about the seat: Exact seat location to be determined. Winner will be able to choose from ground level toward the back of the floor OR seated tickets. Back of the floor? Now way. If I pay that much money, I'd expect the front row.

true, altho if someone has $16,000 to shell out in the first place, they can always spend a few extra $ to buy a better seat for the show. People bidding are mainly buying for the meet-&-greet, I am thinking.

They are calling them VIP tickets...for the BACK of the floor??? What the hell do you call the front for the floor? They also say it's from the Artist's (Paul's) guest list. I seriously doubt Paul makes his special guests sit 'near the back of the floor'. For $25,000 I'll buy 10 Hot Sound tickets front and CENTER and plane tickets, nice hotel rooms, cash for the bar and other "goodies" for the concerts. Besides, I shouted to Paul from the 6th row and got a response. A brief convo, but a convo nonetheless!

Yeah, buy the entire front row and leave the remaining seats empty. That would get his attention for sure!

You would have so much more room to spread out and have fun! http://s3.vidimg.popscreen.com/original/9/MTlnSUtxVXFQeGMx_o_step-brothers---bunk-beds.jpg

I am another one who had a conversation with Paul at a concert in my hometown from the front row. Way back in 1993 and it cost me $500 and a drive of about 15 minutes. Probably paid $5 for parking back then. No picture or autograph though.
