FansOnTheRun tweeted that Paul did indeed do "It's So Easy" tonight with a pretty cool photo tribute on the big screens. There was a video clip posted, too, on Instagram.

WOW what a phenomenal audience! So loud so loving! Amazing show, way louder than last night at Tobin, the band and audience both. Loved the Buddy tribute and Hi Hi Hi! And lovely Rita!
-
^ It was a much bigger venue too. I heard there was no soundcheck & the setlist stayed shortened.

The setlist was the same as it's been since Japan with "It's So Easy" was played after "I've a Just Seen a Face"

No, I've heard he only did 29 songs. Maybe someone can verify. The storms were very bad last night & his plane was delayed so he was extra late.

Found a great video of "It's So Easy" from last night. Cool story and you can see just what Buddy Holly means to him after the song ends.

A friend of mine met the band earlier today at the airport.

On the way to Buddy Holly's hometown, there were storms and his plane was delayed? He must have been f r e a king out a little.

The small plane in which Buddy Holly's fatal accident occurred in February 1959, was during a snowstorm. Visibility was terrible and that plane would not have been like a plane of today. With all the flying Paul has done, why would he freak out?

Really nice review in Lubbock online

Awsome day in Lubbock,Tx. the day started off at the Buddy Holly Center where there was a oak tree planted in honor of Buddy Holly, called "The McCartney Oak" , then a press conference with Peter Bradley Jr. President of "The Buddy Holly Educational Foundation", where he displayed "The Buddy Holly Guitar" that was going to be presented to Paul McCartney at the concert that evening, this is a special one of a kind guitar made with a fret from one of Buddy's guitars. i got to spend time with the guitar it was awesome . Then the big event ----The Concert !! Paul sounded great and included one of Buddy Holly's songs "It's So Easy" also in attendance was Maria Elena Holly , Buddy's wife. Have some great pictures , wish i knew how to add them oh well ...Rock On Paul !

Yes, that's what I mean. Not that he was actually concerned about his safety, just a little chilling to think about.
