Julian did a version of When I'm 64 for a commercial. Here it is:

The Beatles song that man needs to do is Oh Darling. Who here thinks he could pull that one off?

"I don't like you" "I'll get over it"

I think Paul was more of a father to Julian than John was. John admitted he didn't even know how to play with Julian. He asked Paul "How do you do it?"

well, John wanted to sing Oh Darling and never got the chance. I do like Paul's version but a Lennon version would have rocked. and I think it would suit Julian's voice.

Nup. I cannot envision any improvement, from John or Paul himself, on the closing rendition offered on Abbey Road. One of Paul's best. John kinda joined in on the Anthology version when Yoko's divorce came through.... But this is as good as it gets. An amazing song. In my opinion, his best vocal effort ever. I adore it. Simply revere it.

Have you ever heard this early version? Wow...does his voice get UP THERE.

LOL. Paul's vocals are clearly sped up. Not even Paul in his prime can sing that high.

It's not sped up. Paul goes into falsetto in parts. Then there's the (distracting) echo.
