I was bored, so I decided to start this new thing where you divide the top ticket price of the artist playing by the amount of songs he/she plays. For example, Paul: Top ticket price- $250 Amount of songs played- 35 How much you pay per song- $7.14 The Rolling Stones: Top Ticket Price- $825 Amount of songs played- 23 How much you pay per song- $36.00 Pickin' up what I'm puttin' down?

      7/15/11- Yankee Stadium
      6/8/13- Barclays Center
      7/5/14- Times Union Center
      8/7/16- MetLife Stadium
      9/15/17- Madison Square Garden

      Thank you Paul!

I wonder how much it was per song when I saw The Who (1974) for $7.50 at Madison Square Garden - lol.

                Maybe I'm amazed !!

Saw The Killers last night...£50 ticket, just over an hour and a half show, 20 songs = £2.50 per song. Two of those 'songs' were one minute snippets so really only 18 songs.

It was 47 cents back then, with inflation $2.20/song. Still not bad!

Paul cost $2,000 for front row, $1,500 for rows 3-6, $650 for rows 7-15. You are not sitting in the first 15 rows on the floor for $250, at least in St. Louis which was a 2012 arena show, and that's really where the action is. Sad but true.

Why? Are 1-15 only for packages?

                                Yes.

This isn't entirely true. Yes, you can buy the Front Row, Hot Sound, Gold, or Silver Package and get a seat up front. But I, personally, have gotten 2nd, 3rd, 5th row during the website's presale for $250, and I know others who've done the same. It depends on the venue...and how well Crowd Surge is working that day
