Rockshow in Theatres
-
Plucked this off of the Beatlefan Facebook page, they got a tip from someone regarding this website: http://www.rockshowonscreen.com/ It says Rockshow will begin screening in movie theatres May 15th. Looks like mainly NY,CA and WA with a few other places sprinkled in. I watched the preview to me the audio clip sounds like possibly a remastered clip, I will let the rest of you decide.

Closest to me is a 90 minute drive each way, but I got to see this! Looks like in addition to a Paul McCartney concert in June, July and August, I also get to see Wings in May!
-
Nowhere near me in Vancouver, would have to travel to WA would be awesome though.

With this news of them pushing Rockshow this heavy as Paul starts his tour, I'm really feeling a Venus and Mars/Rockshow opener. Dare I suggest we get to hear some Silly Love Songs this tour?
-
It's going to be playing at a really nice venue by me. I can't wait!!!
-
thanks for the information, really cool! unfortunately not available in german cinemas
-
I'm super excited. One about 100 miles from me. I'd drive for that...but I may help put together an event for a theater doing it 300 miles away instead.
-
They're going to be showing it in Belfast!!!!!!!
-
I saw it for the first time in a theatre, back when it was first released, so this is great news!
-
I'm going to get messed up like I'm actually at a concert!

Click on "Cinemas" and then scroll down to the end of the list. I don't see Chicago. http://www.rockshowonscreen.com/

Couldn't get to the FB login page (wouldn't load!) It's nowhere near me.

Me too. Four years after I saw the concert. I went to an afternoon showing and the theater was empty. It was after McCartney II came out, so Wings was effectively over. It's not playing near me this time, so I'll wait for the Blu-ray. I'm actually more excited about Wings Over America than the movie.

The first time I saw this film was in '97 when VH-1 (now VH+1) did their "All Paul Week." I was floored by the show. Floored! And, to my surprise, it was "Beware My Love" that made me totally surrender to the power of Wings.
-
Is there a complete listing of all the theaters yet?

Ah, the good ol' days of VH+-1 . "Beware My Love" is up there for me. The Wings songs that did it for me were "Letting Go" (live) from Wings Over America, and "1985". Just crossing my fingers that this is shown somewhere near me.
