Sooooo . . A friend of a friend in the biz just told me Paul's people are searching for a Melbourne performance space. Who knows. 'If' anything happened it wouldn't be till very late this year, most probably March next year, which is peak concert season.
I heard the same. Paul's people had an advance team checking out venues around the nation. ....again....AROUND THE NATION.
I'd heard the rumor that the Adelaide press had published, but this was Melbourne mentioned. We live in hope.

This is FANTASTIC news! I assume that this is the first time things have progressed this far since 2002?

This is the most positive news we have had for years! I will be going to Adelaide, obviously, Melbourne and Sydney hopefully. How do you get good seats though? I think we all deserve front row but they always seem to be taken by VIPS and media. How do true fans get good tickets? Hope the news stays positive Cheers Chrissie

Solution is to get standing admission, like here in Buenos Aires.

Hope it all works out for Australia and New Zealand. Seems to be pointing in that direction.

Oh, no! Are you saying we'll all have to fly to Melbourne again, like in 2002?

Perth has a great new venue the Perth Arena which has attracted many big name acts who in the past would miss Perth out completely like The Rolling Stones. I am sure that other major cities such as Adelaide and Brisbane have great venues for a Paul show as well as the usual Melbourne and Sydney spots. Any news or links at all to do with the possibility of a tour please please share on this post

Well, here's a fun game to pass the time. At which venue would we all like to see Paul if (fingers eternally crossed) he does come here. I'm from Melbourne and the obvious one is Rod Laver Arena and there's always the MCG for a stadium. Of course he played Festival Hall with The Beatles in '64 (which Ringo came back to a couple of years ago) and Sidney Meyer Music Bowl with Wings in '75 but I reckon they'd be way too small for him these days.

Good question... If he comes to Brisbane, I'm sure it would be either the Brisbane Entertainment Centre (where the Stones played in 2014 and 2003) or Suncorp Stadium (formerly Lang Park).

I'm now officially excited.... I trust in the Moptop.... it better not be the same day I have to go to the Grand Final to see my side defend its four-in-a-row unparalleled triumph!..... That Bette Davis was sure pretty hot in her day.
