Paul, Come To Australia
-
At least ! I'm happy for you. I am longing to read your comments.
-
Wait, was he actually in the country for the Tim Minchin thing? I assumed Tim went to him but would they send someone from 60 Minutes over?
-
I read that Tim flew to him.
-
Great news Australia & NZ!! So happy for you guys! I'm even thinking of taking a trip there. My first time down under and I can't think of a better reason to head to the southern hemisphere... Just fantastic!

Sneak peek: Sir Paul McCartney | Sunday on 60 Minutes
Love it! One of the best interviews ever. Not the same boring questions over and over, and the interviewer was a delight. Thank you!
-
Once again, congrats Australia!!!!

Wow. They really are good prices. Doesn't the "Diamond" area normally cost about $800 in the US? Still waiting on the VIP prices, though. It'll be interesting to see how much they cost given how relatively cheap the rest of the seats are.
-
Yes they are! Yes, I'm hanging for VIP prices too. I hope they release the prices before the pre-sale.

Actually the "Diamond" seat prices are almost exactly the same as US ...

Oh, really? I'm sure I've seen things like Gold listed at $800 or something and that was without Soundcheck or anything.

There are no diamond packages in the US

The most expensive seats in 2017 are still cheaper than those offered in 2002. Think about that.
-
I'm hoping for 3 arena shows Sydney and 2 AAMI Park Melbourne. Please sell swiftly and that could very well happen. fingers crossed.
-
December 5 in Melbourne is going to be a very emotion charged night!

Exactly. I had this thought as well.

In honour of this finally happening, this thread should be locked and retired. ð???

That's been a hot topic over the last few days!

If the mods want to do that, I'd be totally fine with it, but personally would love to keep it until the end of the tour if that is possible - maybe they can edit the thread title if they want to. Just that it's the gathering point for us, has been for so long. Still a good place to discuss everything tour related. Longest thread in the history of the internet though? Possibly haha.

Also, come mid-December, we'll need to start asking Paul to come back and moaning about how he seems to go to Japan every second year these days.
