PRE-SALE QUESTIONS
-
I just did a trial run and clicked "Pre-Sale" for the New Orleans show. It redirected me to Ticketmasters website. Why did it not take me to Crowdsurge?? Just trying to plan out how to do tomorrow's pre-sale for Atlanta.

Hi, the pre-sale for Paul's New Orleans concert opened back on the 9th and the tickets allotted for the website pre-sale via CrowdSurge have been exhausted. The general public sale opened on the 14th. Thus, you are now being redirected to Ticketmaster for the possibility of finding an available ticket. Anita

It is re-directing you because the pre-sale has officially expired for those dates so it simply redirects to the Ticketmaster site for regular sales. The fact that you entered your email and it redirected you suggests you are good to go. That is what you want to do though tomorrow morning. Go to the linked site above and click on pre-sale for the city you want at 10am local time. FWIW, if you are not in by 10:02 I would start over and retry the link. Sometimes I got stuck in purgatory. Are Crowd Surge regular, non-VIP pre-sale tickets printed out from my PC or are these mailed later ala VIP? Thanks.
-
Thanks for the info y'all!
-
Hey folks, I'm sorry but I don't understand what's being said here: if you want a VIP package do you go straight to Ticketmaster at the same time set up for Crowdsurge (in this case 10 AM tomorrow for the Nashville show) or do the VIP sales begin at a different time? Thanks for any info! Hey wait, I get it: I go here and click the VIP button at 10 AM for the show I want. D'uh! http://www.paulmccartney.com/live/27468-out-there

Best of luck to all of you trying for tickets to shows tomorrow. I'll be trying for Jacksonville or Atlanta. Nothing like short notice! LOL
-
Good luck to you too! Nothing like pre-sale day to get my nerves all tore up. I'm actually leaving work to go home and do this. Also...why in the world does Paul announce a few dates here and there?? I'm glad I didn't buy tickets for New Orleans the other day! I was going to because Atlanta wasnt announced yet. Is there a purpose for the tour announcements a little at a time?? I guess that's a marketing/money making strategy.
-
I am sure that they do not want to overwhelm the sites, etc! PLUS, look at the distance they have to travel to set up and tear down between shows- alot of work and done FAST- It is all logistics... I am so glad they chose Jacksonville!! I had no other hope of getting to a show this summer....got my fingers crossed for tickets- some of my friends up north could not get in and were very saddened....I hope I don't have that problem!!! My guess is that it's a money making strategy..increases the sales. Someone sees a city somewhat near them...may require some traveling but people think that's the closest city he'll get. Then a week or so later, Paul announces a show in their city.. To which they think that is a "must-go". I've fallen for that one before. : Fortunately, this year he announced my town in the first round of announcements! I lucked out. But I must say, it is hard to make summer plans when he announces this way! The suspense IS exciting..and frustrating...lol..But I think of it this way.. 20+ years from now, I'd love to be reliving all of this suspense and frustration!

^^^ I like your attitude, lady! Hope you have a ball.

A question for those of you who have bought tickets before during a presale using the link to Crowdsurge: Roughly how long before the concert did your tickets arrive in the mail? The website said something about 14 days, I believe.
-
I got ticket through crowdsurge for memphis, Indy, and stlouis each time it was about 14 days before the show.

Thanks.

For The AMEX presage, do you just go to ticket master and put your card number or do you have to have a code to access the AMEX presage?

Hi, For those asking for assistance with American Express pre-sales: All American Express card members are eligible to participate in American Express card member pre-sales. The difference between purchasing tickets via American Express Seating and American Express Preferred Seating is as follows: American Express Seating (no password required): Locate the American Express card member pre-sale section on the purchase page of the event you wish to attend. Select the number of tickets and price (if applicable) you would like to buy. Search for tickets and follow payment instructions until purchase is confirmed. The only accepted method of payment is a valid American Express card. American Express Preferred Seating (password required): Locate the American Express preferred seating section on the purchase page of the event you wish to attend. Select the number of tickets and price (if applicable) you would like to buy. In the password box, enter the 10-digit customer service number or international promotional code on the back of your American Express card. Search for tickets and follow payment instructions until purchase is confirmed. The only accepted method of payment is a valid American Express card - gold or higher, platinum, etc. I hope this helps. Anita

Do I have have a code for the AMEX presale?

Can I buy VIP Packages during the AMEX presale?
-
For the AMEX presale, is there going to be a pull down menu under "Ticket Type" that says "American Express Presale Tickets"? I thought I saw a screen shot with the instructions on the home page with the AMEX logo advertising it (it's not there now). I think you have to enter the customer service number on the back of your card, but someone on the pm website posted that 8778770987 works the best, so is this arbitrary? Don't want to get hung up on something silly.

Haha yeah thank you I just want to be sure. Will I be able to buy VIP Packages during the AMEX presale?
