A Big Thank You From PaulMcCartney.com

: yeah right...our opinion counts. We've only been stating our position for months. 1st question...what are your favorite sections? Don't you mean what WERE the favorite sections?
-
I already had purchased the download that came with the premium content and I have already purchased the downloads that are supposed to be our goodies. I don't feel like I got anything for my $60 or whatever it was.
-
I just took the survey and gave honest responses. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
-
WOW a survey would have been a bit better before they pulled the rug on the premium memberships etc surely? Still i'll take it and give my thoughts on it and whats needed to bring it up to scratch though frankly as this point a total revamp is needed in my eyes.
-
They asked about the Music Player--I chose that as something that needs to be expanded. I doubt they'll bring back the Jukebox although I wish they would!
-
I took the survey, but are the responses that they've collected in this thread not clear enough? Also, as has been stated, why not give us this survey BEFORE wreaking havoc on the PM.com site? Sorry to make so much sense...

I've noticed that more songs under the MUSIC menu have audio again! The STORE is still less than comprehensive, but there are "BUY NOW" links for selected albums under the MUSIC menu. Oddly, Memory Almost Full does not have that option, nor do I see the album in the STORE. Most likely, it is available via the iTunes option.

Hopefully 2013 will bring some changes to the new website, as it needs some, and badly. Also, I'm hoping that the "We're sorry we ripped you off with the Premium Membership, but kiss that money goodbye" goody bag is quite a bit deeper than two downloads of widely-available music.
You got quoted in the Examiner. http://www.examiner.com/article/mccartney-website-members-not-happy-about-upcoming-overhaul?CID=examiner_alerts_article

That's rad! Is that the only article about this issue on the web? If there is more like it, then that would be better in helping us get some better goodies and soon!

And the article mentions the petition. That's awesome! Word is getting around. Keep pushing!

I'm famous now.

I'll use my new found fame to plug it.

I don't see them paying any more attention to the survey than they do this thread. They limit responses to 3 per question. I could have written an essay, but that is too difficult for a computer to read.
-
took the survey via my crappy tablet .. I found the questions too generic & the space to add additional info limited.. but at least we had the option~ ( for input )

I think/fear that you're right. If they really cared about fans' opinions, the survey would have been sent out prior to the new website going up, or at least before they trashed the new website and deleted the premium memberships.
-
I'm noticing gradual updates to site. I believe they are in the process of making the site even better than it had been. I'm not so sure about our personal profiles, but I can live without that anyway.

I wonder if they really didn't think we'd be that upset about it or if they considered it and braced themselves for a backlash. I can't really say either way or if they found the social network aspects of the site just a pain and that's why it went. I just hope they don't do anything to this board. Did you know that Paul is the only Beatle right now with an official board? John doesn't have one as I've heard lamented by Lennon fans and Ringo had one once but it disappeared several years back. George's has been closed for maintenance for almost a month now and I have my doubts it's coming back. Kudos for Paul in my eyes.
