A Big Thank You From PaulMcCartney.com

Am I the only one who feels completely indifferent to this? I used the site once or twice after I joined and to be perfectly honest I have never used it since. I think it's better if everyone gets whatever content for free. Some people can't afford the membership and it's just more fair this way. With regards to tickets, it will probably go back to the way it was before the membership started anyway with the presale codes emailed to those on the email list. Can't wait to see the goodies they are preparing for us!
I'm rather indifferent to it all as well. Really feel for me that it was a waste of money. I really just wanted access to the best ticket and ticket information in a timely manner. Maybe I didn't "use" the sight like it was intended. I always just wanted the most current news about Paul and the band, access to other fans and friends, and I do feel dedicated fans deserve first crack at the best tickets. Also, just for ducks, it would be fun to have contests, etc for tickets and other goodies. We deserve that!

a good way to get pre sale tickets is to get an Amex Card

sorry. ain't the 1%.

I just took the survey. I think in general a survey is a good idea but I agree that there wasn't anywhere to give a more detailed answer. Maybe one field at the end just to say things you couldn't elsewhere on the survey might do. For example, I was asked how often I visit PaulMcCartney.com. Now I posted every day but the truth is I visit this board daily but little else. The rest I view much less frequent. I feel such a note is important.

Definitely not the 1% and got an Amex card for this reason. It's not one of the biggies and there are different levels of access with the Amex card.

I never really went on the site either. I also feel it was a waste of money. I only bought it for early ticket access and that was a fiasco.

For at least a couple of years I was on the site constantly. I was also on the forum (though was not a member). I visited the site at least 4x a week (give or take) before I even considered being a premium member. I would spend much of my time browsing the photots, tour videos, tour archives, music player and store. That music player helped me discover some of my now favorite McCartney songs. If things were restored to the way they were, I would be ecstatic. That website was perfection. You could even mix some specially selected songs in Rude Studio! It had everything the average macca addict needed. For everything it didn't have (more relevant news, fan stories, fan album reviews) there was the maccaboard. Once I started using them both, they went together like suits of armor and an electrical storms or peanut butter and ranch dressing really though, it was like heaven on a hot fudge sunday . There is still progress to be made. Macca fans are more hardcore than any other artist in my opinion. And many other musician sites have what we used to have. The Who, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones etc. you can keep all of your future goodies if you just press the undo button and return the site to it's former glory. Just because time has passed since your mistake doesn't mean we have forgotten it.

A couple of years? The premium site didn't exist even a year.

Yes but the site itself has been around for much longer than that. I just started visiting the site a couple of years ago is what I tried to say.

You make contests for people from twitter and facebook... you should make one to the people from the maccaboard and help to make it more active.

I'd be OK with the following .. release of pre-show music ( cause it rawks! ) release of Liverpool 2003.. or unreleased boots-

Without the main site my life as a fan of Paul was very boring. There we had our friends, our pages to share everything about Paul. Here in this forum we are only strangers, people without bonds. I wonder if we really have our back pages, because sometimes I think not. Please! When we will have our pages back? Could someone answer me? Thank you!

don't forget about dedications on the music player. I had one that was very significant to me.
