Wow, great setlist. A few of my all-time favorite songs ("Days", "Oklahoma USA", "Autumn Almanac") and many classics ("Sunny Afternoon", "Waterloo Sunset", "You Really Got Me"). Only one that's missing is "Lola".
-
Throw in Lola, Come Dancing and Mr. Pleasant and it would have been absolutely perfect! But always leave them wanting more, right?

$300 really? Mine were err, $48. (I converted from pounds).
yeah thats what my brother tells me he looked on line hmmmm
That's probably the high end. Look again, there's probably lower priced seats available. Because I doubt Adam Ant is going to get $300.oo a ticket. Unless it's sold out of course.

IAN ANDERSON PLAYED THICK AS A BRICK 1 & 2= salt lake city, utah monday october 22nd,, it was great alot better than i thought it would be,, he still has the desire, ability and wants to connect with the people in the seats, there was abit of theater in the show & some good old humor from ENGLAND, if you know what i mean the band was very good, i was impressed, it was alot of music, and some memories from 1972..... i seen JETHRO TULL in 1971,72,73 they were great..... but this was very good, 3rd row just left of center,, so if you get a chance go see this show

I've had a crap year and Paul probably not doing the usual Christmas concerts for us Brit fans makes it even more crap. So, I need some suggestions on who to see in concert in the next month or two who can at least almost generate as much wowee excitement as Macca can. Anyone know? And no, I will not pay Rolling Stone prices!
-
megadeth in about 2 weeks
-
In the end I decided to see Van Morrison. Lemme just say, if you're one of those people who ignore times on tickets etc and turn up later. Don't. Punctuality is everything with Van The Man.

How was he? I had my first musical for this string I've got this winter on Saturday, "Million Dollar Quartet". It's basically 70% Rockabilly Concert, 30% Broadway Fluff. But speaking of punctuality, we got in our seats three minutes before the curtain! It was the closest I've ever been! Hit a lot of traffic on the way down, took nearly double time...I guess a Saturday in the city around Christmastime stirs that sort of stuff up!

Million Dollar Quartet? Are you referring to the historic impromptu jam session with Elvis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis???
