So did u have similar seat from the Paul RAH gig? seen on the set he did 'Handle with Care' always been a fan of that song.
We were about ten feet to the left of where we were, but back row in the circle, the good thing was that nobody was behind us so we could stand which was great, and no rail in our way. Also it was easier for my air guitar playing to be standing. They did do Handle With Care which was great, but the whole show was truly memorable, the atmosphere was electric, unlike the Paul gig which was a little flat i thought, but i think that was to do with the 13 year wait for us fans to see the band, there was a lot of love in the room.
The Tom Petty concert at the RAH was awesome!!! I have to say that Boycie was really rocking the air guitar big time!! Wish I had taken a video! Lots of fun and it was on Paul's birthday, so we wore our PMc t-shirts as a nod to Paul's birthday! We were hoping that Tom would dedicate a song to Paul... Here's our seat, which looked closer than the picture does. We were right on the back wall, great seats for standing and air guitar and dancing
Yes great photo's Boycie, see u kept with the PM t-shirt!!

Fabulous picture of you with the Beach Boys. I didn't see a mention in your report did you get any signatures from them when you met them?
Thanks! They were very strict about no autographs...but boy were they selling them!...that classic Mike Love marketing I suppose. : I bought Al Jardine's solo CD signed for $10. But they also had the tour programme signed by all five for $100 and if you obught ten copies of the new album, you got the last one signed by the all five of them, of course the CD's are $10 a piece...
very surprised that a meet and greet doesn't include autographs, but i guess worth it for the photo you got. Buy 10 and get a signed one, what great marketing to make the album chart, much better than charging $100 for a signed CD

To add to the rave reviews for The Beach Boys' current tour, I've seen them about 8-10 times now, in the 80's, 90's, etc., and this is not only their best show I've seen, but also the best they've sounded in all of the times I've seen them. You will absolutely kick yourselves if you have a chance to see them and don't. Promise.

Looks as though the Wembley Arena date is a sell out, but not sure about the RAH, only 3 weeks to wait to hear these superb BB tunes
-
Going to see the Beach boys tonight at Wembely Arena, am looking forward to it but not sure what to expect as i am not a massive Beach Boys Fan but love 60s music

Still on cloud 9 from last night, what an amazing show 55 songs in total. The whole band were faultless, and Brian was certainly on top form and looked so chuffed to be there. stand out songs for me were; Surfer Girl In my room Little Deuce Coupe/409/shut down/I Get Around Heroes and Villains

Saw the Beach Boys at Wembley on Friday, here's what I wrote about it on the Beach Boys Smiley Smile message board: You know, I was going to write a big fancy review, but now I can't be arsed! All i'm going to say is that this was the best concert i've ever been to, even if I am only 18. I feel privileged to have attended what may well be the last proper Beach Boys show (I somewhat hope not though) I have to admit as my favourite Beach Boy most of my attention was focused on Brian. Brian was at the top of his game beaming smiles across the arena and singing wonderfully. Two of the highlights for me were Heroes and Villains and I Wasn't Made For These Times. On the latter I was looking at him and the great photos of him from that era on the big screen and trying to fathom how I was watching the guy that wrote and sang on the greatest album ever made! (IMO) He was much less shaky and seemed more confident than when I saw him last year at the Royal Festival Hall. If this was one of Brian's "on" nights then he was really on! Also Sail On Sailor was excellent considering his somewhat shaky history with performing that tune. Mike was even better than expected and didn't seem to show any of his nasal tone that brings him down somewhat, he is really an excellent showman, he killed yesterday! David Marks played some really nice guitar licks during the show and he is truly an essential asset to this tour, i'm very happy that he's got his dues in this tour! Bruce was quite cool tonight even and although Wendy wasn't all that strong in my opinion Disney Girls was fantastic and I don't know if it was my imagination but he sounded just like he did on the Surfs Up album! Lastly Al, I went in with VERY high expectations for Al having heard how strong his voice still is (and they all have pretty strong voices still don't get me wrong!) and I must say he delivered, particular highlights were Cotton Fields and Help Me Rhonda. (which tore the house down) Then I Kissed Her was quite funny too with Al missing the first line! (and mentioning it after!) Also the team players, they were of course brilliant and working with the Boys there was this full sound that really rocked! Paul Von Mertens was just fantastic on the sax, Darian did justice to Darlin', Scott climbing on top of Brian's piano was pretty funny as well! Say what you will about Jeffrey Foskett's somewhat whiny falsetto but he was terrific here and did justice to all the songs he sang lead on. On another note All This Is That was phenomenal and after hearing it live it is now one of my Mum's favourite BB songs! All I can say is if this is the last proper Beach Boys show I see I can go away with happy memories! 55 songs! Fu*king unbelievable!

It was a great show and i really enjoyed it. I filmed the whole 3 hour show and it is on YouTube, starts off not great but gets better, the screen seemed really dark to start with. Anyway if you want to watch an audience recording from the screens here it is https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrAcw9apiWTHhkOqkYkXlPrPdZHBrVqxl&feature=view_all
