Dear Boy:
I snagged a couple in Section F, Row 11. At the time I bought them, I thought they were Section E, though, so now I'm a little disappointed/worried that those will be lousy. Opinions? Also, the other pair of tickets I have are in Section 41, Row A, which I assumed was the first row of the section. I just saw this detailed seating chart, though: https://seatgeek.com/venues/dodger-stadium/seating-chart/ which makes it look like there are 8 rows in front of Row A?? Is that going to be the case for the concert?
Seems like they will be great. Definitely better than in the stands . You have a good angle at the stage Here is a photo from e Police concert http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/07/The_Police_concert_at_Dodger_Stadium.jpg Row 1 in a baseball stadium is usually like row 4 in a basketball arena, so you can add 4 to compare slightly related - I was in row one off to the side in a basketball stadium and Paul had the subs right there - the sounds was pretty awful - I wanted to be back a few rows
So you recommend the floor ones? Cool, thanks; I wasn't sure how off to the side the F section is, like if I'll just be looking at a speaker.. I get so obsessive about tickets/seats when it's concert time. I think I lose years of my life worrying about getting good ones.

you can see in this photo that the good lower box seats are at the same angle and 100-200 feet behind you http://thealternakids.files.wordpress.com/2007/06/image338.jpg the side sections almost always have the most active fans - a lot of movie stars and lucky sperm club members in the center

Awesome Super excited. And who wants to sit with the lucky sperm club members, anyway

I swa some tickets I can afford. I would like to get up close but those tickets are a bit expensive for me. Good thing Paul has those two big screen T.Vs. to see if im a bit far from the stage. I can only get the $50.00 ones for me and my dad if I can. I really would like to see Paul for a second time.
-
Does anyone have an idea of how the tickets in section A will be like...

Yeah, I caught that he slipped that in about Ringo or "others." Looking forward to August 10th!
-
That will be incredible if it happens! And I will be there to see it
-
Dear Boy:
Do we know which direction the seat numbers go on the floor seats? Left to right or right to left?
Since Section A is on the left, seating should run, as you face the stage, left to right.

Can't wait me and my wife scored seats in Sec C Row 2!!! It wasn't our main plan but it works. We were able to get a pair of front row VIP package seats the day they went on sale and as we submitted the order the site froze up and we lost our seats.

Hi everyone...we are going to candlestick park concert and I'm considering doing this show too. I was looking at just staying in LA 2-3 days and want to stay close to Dodger Stadium...any recommendations? Thx!!

Not a recommendation, but I was driving past Elysian Park Ave and Sunset Blvd. last week, and I noticed a Super 8 at the corner. Maybe check Trip Advisor for reviews. parlance

The closet motels near Dodger Stadium with fairly positive reviews are Best Western Dragon Gate Inn, Royal Pagoda Motel, or Super 8 Los Angeles Downtown. But there are many nicer hotels slightly farther away in Downtown L.A, like the Westin Bonaventure, Miyako Hotel, Omni, Ace Hotel, The Standard, and Ritz-Carlton- all are easily accessible by car or public transportation. I hope you can make the show!

Westin Bonaventure in Downtown would be my first choice. I've stayed there. It's expensive but fantastic! The Stadium is only 2 miles. Even if you don't stay there, I'd recommend to anyone the revolving restaurant and bar at the top of the Bonaventure for a great meal and view. http://www.thebonaventure.com/
