Did Los angeles show get sold out already? I was just curious because to buy the tickets it showed no seats are avaible for this show. I find it hard to believe it would get sold out that fast. Usually there is always some kind of seats left over. Anyway hopefully that contest will help solve the problem with getting tickets.

The Dodgers website may not have any tickets, but lots of tickets are available through the secondary market. Check it out if you still want tickets. That's where you'll have to get them.

Do you recommend any good sites for those and can you post links here?

Hi, Randy had made suggestions and posted corresponding links for you, but per our forum guidelines, we are unable to host links to secondary market ticket resellers and therefore those links have been removed - sorry about that! Here at the message board, we have a private message system which you may utilize to contact Randy in regard to his suggestions. If you would rather not communicate via private message, a quick Google search will provide the answers you are seeking. Best of luck in obtaining tickets! Anita

I forgot to ask earlier, but did anyone buy parking? I know at games you have to pay for parking, but I didn't see anything on the ticket site (soundsurge or whatever they are called) when I got my ticket the first day. Anyone know?

Parking at Dodger Stadium is $20.00. They recommend buying ahead of time. Here is the link to that: http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?agency=DGCV_CONCERTS&pid=7748919&campid=em_tdc_dodgers_061814&_wcsid=02732605FD622CE54C8512E57D36DD073DBB7A8A1422A212

Great! Thanks so much for that. I looked at the Dodgers site after I bought the tix and at that time there were no links for the concert. Silly me. I should have looked again.

Hi -- I'm Patrick from Riverside, CA. I'm looking for a ride to the Dodger Stadium concert on 8/10. I'm willing to pay for gas and throw in a little extra for the driving. You can contact me at pkmcgaugh@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Just for clarification -- what direction do the seat numbers in the floor sections go? I asked earlier and got two different answers (one person said "Since Section A is on the left, seating should run, as you face the stage, left to right," and another said "I've been looking through the boards and the consensus seems to be that seat numbers go from right to left if you are facing the stage."). If I'm in section C, do I want a high numbered seat or a low numbered seat? Same question for section E. Thanks so much!
-
One other quick nit-picky question -- assuming you can't be dead center in front of Paul, which side of the stage is "better"? Is it the right side, because that's where his piano is? (Apologies for all the questions--I'm just about to plunk down a lot of money on stubhub for what seem to be great tickets, but I want to make sure first that I know which direction the seat are going and whether Section E has a substantially better or worse view than Section C).

Dear Boy:

Given my limited experience, the numbering system as you're facing the stage runs left to right. So if you're looking to buy seats to the left of the center section then the higher seat numbers are closer to the center with the reverse being true on the right of center section.
-
I called Tickets.com and they said that, for sections A, B, C, and D, the seat numbers go from right to left (when you're looking at the stage). For E, F, and G, they go left to right. So, regardless of which side you're on, the lower the number of your seat, the closer you are to the center of the stage. Generally speaking, is it better to be on the left or right side of the stage?

Well I just spent like $3000 on two tickets in row 2 of Section E, aisle seats near D. Hope I didn't just make a big mistake Damned scalpers..

Don't complain. People like you are why they are in business. Even if I could afford it, I would not pay that much to see anybody!

I posted this over in the "Members face-value ticket offers and requests" thread, but I'm posting here too: I have two tickets for Dodgers Stadium, Section E, Row 38. They are $580 total ($290 each) or best offer. PM me if you want them! Anybody need a pair? Let me know!

"Damned scalpers"??? They are scum, no one should buy from them.

If ticketing was fair like it used to be way back, many of us wouldn't have yo use scalpers. Some punters have no other choice for decent seats. I don't approve either but they are an option.
-
Anyone know what the process is for parking for the Sound Check? Is the cost of parking included in a Hot Sound or other VIP package? It says "special entrance", but no other info. Should I buy parking for Dodger Stadium???

Scalping has been going on forever. Even The Beatles first tour had scalpers. I got a ticket to Wings Over America from a scalper on the sidewalk at Cow Palace. The only difference is that the Internet has taken over from standing in line at the box office or Ticketron. I'm not saying I would never use a reseller, just that the greed in pricing has gotten totally out of hand.
