Paul and Ringo at the Grammy's

Will be starting here in a few minutes, can't wait!
-
Already some postings on youtube!

Great performance for both of 'em tonight. "Queenie Eye" is going to get a second wind after this!
-
Fabulous to see Paul and Ringo performing together, absolutely LOVE it!!! Paul looks and sounds great, Ringo as well. So nice to see their LOVED ones with them.

Lame of Paul to not do a Beatles song with Ringo. C'mon Paul!
King Macca, Hear what you're saying but Paul has very little control over an event like the Grammy's. They have so many guests to get on (all the genres) that they only had time for one song each. I would have loved them to do a Beatles song (especially "With a Little Help from My Friends) but they didn't give them the time. They are doing a whole special on 2/9 so that will be time for all us Beatle fans to celebrate better. I was glad Macca did Queenie Eye. I think it was the best song for him to do tonight if he only had one song. Paul is not just a legend but he is still relevant musically and his performance tonight in my opinion proved it.

I was wondering where all of you were! Don't know what thread I've been posting in! LOL What a night for Paul (and Ringo). Just loving how great he looks, sounds, etc. Nancy looked so proud while he was singing 'Queenie Eye'. Glad he picked that one; one of my favorites! Great hearing Paul singing 'New' in the commercial, too!

Paul, Ringo and Co. ROCKED Queenie Eye! And Willie and Co. ALSO rocked!!

Yoko and Olivia presenting Album of the Year!

I disagree 100%. A Beatles nostalgiafest rerun would have been lame. Paul being a living, breathing, creating artist IS great. On another note, Ringo looked and sounded great on "Photograph."

So happy to be a Beatles fan tonight! Very glad that Paul sang 'Queenie Eye', a new song not one that everybody knew. I couldn't be more pleases with Paul and Ringo's performances tonight. Just thrilling!

And it sounded superb. How you have two Beatles at the Grammy's and open with Beyonce and what's his name with a dreadful song is beyond me. My 20 year old son just called and told me that Queenie Eye sounded great and was downloading it tonight. And Ringo nailed Photograph.
Agree. And that huge production behind Photograph really reminded me of the huge production on the actual recording. Who was drumming? Henry Spinetti? Wasn't Greg was it???
No,it looked like Kenny Aronoff drumming during Ringo's song.

Such a fun performance to watch with my mom!

I really enjoyed Ringo doing Photograph. Glad he got his own moment up on stage with a fun song (and his photographs... nice plug!). Loved having Ringo drum on Queenie Eye. Great to see them perform together and thought Paul sounded great. I was just slightly bummed that Abe didn't get any air time, but I guess given the circumstances it makes sense.

Yes, it was great to see Paul and Ringo play together. Congratulations to Paul on his wins.

That was great to see the lads playing together. Paul looked and sounded great. Nancy and Barbara looked beautiful and so proud of their hubbies!! It was great to see Yoko and Sean rocking out to Paul's music. What a nice reunion. I'm going to the taping of the "Night That Changed America" tomorrow. I'm getting very excited to see them! Sure hope those boys don't stay up too late partying tonight!! Here's a youtube clip of the performance:

Been watching a lot of Grammy's recaps on late-night news programs. Everytime they get to "Queenie Eye" the video shows Paul and Ringo arm in arm and they mention Paul walked away with "Best Rock Song". Everytime I hear that, I get chills!

Nancy, Barbara and Olivia all looked beautiful. And, bucking the trends, not a hint of botox or cosmetic (dis) enhancement amongst them.... Madonna, on the other hand, looked like Colonel Sanders after he'd accidentally fallen on the injection they give to fatten up the chickens... And I did like seeing Yoko dancing along to Paul. And, I love that Sean was there. I said it before, but man, he's looking more and more like his old man. Would've been good if Julian was there too. But, a great night! (or afternoon, when it was beamed live into Australia)

Yes, satisfying night! I did have tears in my eyes a bit after "Queenie Eye." Abe was definitely doing the "heavy lifting," but great to see Ringo drumming behind Paul too. We missed the end of the show since it ran long and we watched it somewhat delayed on DVR. By the time we realized it was going to run long, it was already over! (The Grammys had been good in recent years with staying on schedule.) So we missed Yoko and Olivia presenting Album Of The Year; was that memorable at all? I can't find a clip of it online, though I know who won it. Hey, yankeefan, I noticed there was no Peter Cetera. That was lame. Made it seem like a Chicago cover band, but at least they kept their Cetera imitator down to a minimum. Robin Thicke did not particularly add class to the proceedings. The NY Times article on the Grammys says that Daft Punk were the biggest winners, with four awards. Hello? Paul won four awards (five if you include "Sound City"), plus a portion of a Lifetime Achievement Award! Let me just say: I'm feeling a little more positive about next year's awards. If "Live Kisses" can get two awards in 2014, maybe "New" can win in 2015!
