I have excellent personal pictures of Paul and Linda together on stage from the Wings over america tour in Madison square in the 70's I am not a professional and am not seeking financial rewards I am a 65 year old musician and thought Paul might like to see theses how could we do this thank you Charlie Matson 609-384-6608 dudester239@yahoo.com USA
I've read in online articles that MPL has a photo archive, of photos of Paul and his concerts over the years, including some Beatles photos... they may even store original copies of Linda's photos there as well... I seem to remember reading somewhere that daughter Mary McCartney was helping to take care of photos in the collection at one time. What would be wrong with sending a letter to MPL, to ask what their policy is for donating photos to their collection... in the letter you can say that you'd be happy to sign over any copyright to them for their use etc., with credit: Photo taken by (insert name here), 1979... or whatever... and can include xerox copies of your photos for them to see. That way you're contacting MPL, attention: Photo Collection.... and not Paul directly.... If a response is received from them that they do accept donations, then you'd be able to send the photos on, with more info about when they were taken etc. My background (before current work) was working with historical libraries, archives and museums, and working with historic film and photo collections. I know many organizations are always grateful to receive donations to add to what they have. There are some places that don't accept donations at all, but they're very rare. Anyway, just an idea Your photos sound wonderful, would be great if you could post them somewhere here on the Maccaboard (There's a Paul McCartney photo thread). As Nancy and love2travel said, We'd love to see them!

Hello Sir McCartney, is it not an idea to make a new Live Aid (2.0) with another artists. For the hunger and drought in Africa? Or to remaster the old DVds and CDs for this purpose? They are used very expensive. Habe a Happy Easter, Ingo from Cologne.

Amazon has the 1985 Live Aid for just over $30.

Mr. McCartney is a very kind and nice man, among the people who want peace and love to the whole world and his art that makes a sufficiently clear for decades hat down.?

Hello Paul, I want to thank you on behalf of all the fans for this new tour. After 50 years you have sung with all your strength in many concerts and thousands of places, time is part of our lives and that means that sometimes it is necessary to adapt. We thank you for the courage to continue en route and singing in normal tuning (4.40), but we want you more time on the route with us; And for that reason I take the liberty to ask you, if you have not thought about lowering a semi tone in the tuning of all the instruments, that would help you to be cooler and it would be easier for you For us fans it is important that you feel good, because that's what makes us feel good, that's why I take the liberty of sending you this message. Thank you for all and love you for Always man ! Juan Jos? Alva Per?/France.

From your lips to Paul's ears! Too bad he will never see this, and even if he did, he would ignore your advice! :

Maybe, but it's a recommendation from musician to musician, I've been afraid to do it, because I do not want you to misunderstand the meaning of my question, I just want you to continue on the road rocking with us fans that we want and for him, for To continue with us ... the voice is something that we lose the singers because of the time and the work, I have sung less than Paul and I realize that my voice is not the one of before, I have lowered the tuning in half semitone And that has helped me a lot, that's why I wanted to talk about it in my message, it's not a criticism (I would never do it) but a recommendation from a fan, musician and friend fan. You are new to posting, although I see you joined over a year ago. Welcome! I hate to burst your bubble, but Paul does not read this stuff on here. However, feel free to vent! We all love to do it!

Paul doesn't read here probably but Jerry Seinfeld definitely did. When he did his standup routine at the Gershwin awards a few years back, he stole every joke he got off this board. I know. two of them were mine and I recognized the others too

Well, Paul, considering recent events in your life, for a moment, I bet you understood what it is like to stand in my shoes and be me

I hope someone here can forward this message to the right person in Paul's organization. I own a vintage limousine service in Wichita featuring classic Rolls Royce limos. I have a white 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud that is very similar to John Lennon's 1965 Rolls. I'd like to offer free limo service for Paul when he arrives for his upcoming concert here in Wichita, KS. I hope that Paul would find a classic Rolls Royce a refreshing change from stretch limos and tour buses. I would be happy to just with the free publicity since this is a new business I'm starting. If interested or have info on someone I can contact, send me a message here or see www.bespoke.limo

Yes, I've insisted that he does, he's not a dullard (far from it) and he's curious about what's being posted on his own official web site, and he's a reader--long ago considered becoming an English literature teacher...it's great fun for him to read people's thoughts about his music, probably, and can even give him suggestions and ideas on occasion. Maybe. Although we know he marches to his own drummer on his songs, holds himself as the final and highest authority on his own songs.

So happy for the fans in Australia Great thing to do

We've lost so many wonderful musicians and great entertainers these past few years. I want to thank you for taking care of yourself and sticking around! God bless you.

Hi Paul! I haven 't been around lately. But I am back again. I recently had two dreams about seeing you in concert in one night which is one reason why I came back again. You are still and always will be my favorite musician. I can relate to many of your songs. I plan on getting all your albums back on CD because my other ones got worn out from playing them everyday. You have my complete loyalty when it comes to music. I only listen to your music, George Harrison's music, and of course The Beatles ' music. You and George are my favorite Beatles. I know you do not read posts on here but if you do happen to read them, please know that you will always have me as one of your lifetime fans and will alway s listen to your music everyday. You will alway s be my favorite even when I turn old and grey. I love you Paul! Please come to LA for a concert soon! Be safe while travelling!

Thought the show with James Corden went very well last night! Enjoyed watching it very much, and thought you did wonderful. When you played "When I'm 64" on the piano, I'm afraid I got a bit teary-eyed, because I'm sure you were thinking of your Mum and Dad and so many things you experienced while living in that house, it must have been such an emotional experience for you, that you could have chosen to keep private.. but thanks so much for sharing your memories with us, and for singing with James Corden in such an enthusiastic and sometimes even surprisingly spiritual way... and appreciate the two new wonderful songs you've been able to give us! You'll always be appreciated very much, and don't ever stop rockin' on.
