Jock Tamson:
Hopefully its not unreasonable to assume that there will be more gigs in the UK and possibly Europe immediately before and after this date (25th June)? I'd like to start a rumour for Edinburgh as he hasn't played in Scotland's capital city since 1979.
I really doubt we'll ever see him up here again. He last played Glasgow in 2010 (as I'm sure you're aware) and that was nowhere near sold out. If (by some miracle) he was to come back here, I think he's more likely to play The Hydro as opposed to anywhere in Edinburgh.

He's going to release an album that his fans actually like.

You'll never get that consensus on this forum, no matter how good it is!

Dream On. *sigh* and it will be a fireman album performed live.

Doubt we'll be hearing any credible rumors for a couple of months at least. Last thing I heard that new tour name coming and that would mean at least a slight retool in set list

He's been touring almost constantly since 2002. Except for a couple of years that were pretty quiet. That's 13 years. Maybe he'll take a little breather.

He sure has earned one. I would be ok with that!

From here he will tour his "Beatles" show until he goes toes up. It's what he lives for; artistic wise.

Artistically, I think he still has a few good albums in him. As for touring, I think it's his personal win to keep The Beatles' legacy alive, as well as showing a few naysayers that a 73 year-old man can be "forever young".

Except he can't be forever young. Time catches up with all of us, even Paul McCartney. We will see how things look when he is 75. When he is 80? Come on. The time when we watch our DVDs of him live is closer than we think. He may have another good LP in him, but same thing. He doesn't have forever. Waiting five years between LPs is becoming more and more of a problem, rather than a good strategy. If he has that good LP in him, put it out already! Time is a-wastin'! It's just not realistic to think Paul, or any rock star, can still do it in their 80s, or do it well. Please don't bring up Chuck Berry, I said DO IT WELL.
