Paul McCartney 2016 Rumors

Polish music journalist said, that 'some people are doing, what they have to do' in a case of Macca show in Poland. I don't know what to think about this news.

I had a patient yesterday (he was not sickly-had a routine surgery) who was 3 months younger than Paul and looked like he was 93, not 73! Amazing how Paul has kept so active and youthful!

How much longer do you think Paul can do 3 hour shows in arenas and stadiums?

That is the whole point! Who else in his age group is still doing tours like he does. The Stones? The Who? Do they play 40 s0ngs for 3 hours? Nobody else plays over 2 hours. Everyone else is either retired or dead.

Barring the development of any health problems, he could do 3-hour shows for another 5 years! After that, I'm sure he'd have to cut the length down. The man is a dynamo! P.S. My Mom is 85 and she has more energy than me! She drives, gets groceries, does housework, etc!

I give him two more years of these long, big venue shows. Then he will change things up, or down. That is my prediction.
-
I keep on saying "another two years" every year! Now I"m taking it one concert at a time and I'm grateful for the current year! We are very lucky fans!

They have been asking him about retiring since 2002, and he keeps answering no. I believe he will defy all predictions!

Yeah, but in 2002 he was 60. You don't seem to understand the concept of time. That's ok. I think some of you WANT Paul on stage when he is 95. I don't.

The current year is fine. We will see how time plays out.

I think it's Paul who doesn't understand the concept of time! And no, I don't think any of us want to see him up on stage when he's 95, unless it is to give a talk or receive an award.

He is magical that way! He still has plenty of awards to receive and speeches to give, I reckon.

He should retire whenever he wants to retire. Slowing down now would probably only age him.

I have a sneaking suspicion this was always going to be the case. For a lot of other people on the planet as well.

This production isn't coming to a halt anytime soon unless there is an unexpected health emergency with our head honcho. I could easily see Sir Paul rockin' the arenas at age 80. Three hour shows? Hard to say. There's really nothing to compare it to. Once again, Paul would be the one pioneering here.

80? Really? Wow. Time will tell.

My dad was quite active at 80. He walked for exercise and danced at Senior socials. He even won a dance contest! He's almost 90 now and is only able to dance a little!

Paul will be quite active at 80. He won't be able to play bass and sing I Saw Her Standing There or Helter Skelter. For three hours. I can see Paul doing a more reserved and age appropriate show at 80. Have an orchestra behind him, some guitars and a piano and a band, and do some things like Yesterday, The Long and Winding Road, Hope of Deliverance and others in lower keys. Dressed in a black suit and comfortable shirt. Yeah, I could see that. But what he is doing now? No. Not gonna happen.
