RMartinez:
Sounding like 2016 will be a redoing of 2015.
But no US rumors?

Can someone please translate this Japanese article? Apparently it mentions a rumor of Paul's upcoming visit to Japan in the summer: http://www.jprime.jp/entertainment/foreigncountry/22692

Hi Carlos, Best as I can tell it talks about Paul's shows in Japan in 2013 and 2015 and the health issues he had leading to cancellation of his 2014 shows. I believe it then goes on to mention how promoters would have to come up with Paul's guarantee and whether the public would meet the ticket prices again so soon for Paul to come back with a new tour. Seems to be more wishful thinking than anything concrete. That's my interpretation with my limited knowledge of Japanese. If anyone here is fluent please jump in! I'd love another chance to see him in Tokyo since I was one of those who traveled in 2014 only to have the shows postponed. Still had a great time and loved Japan.

Thanks. Someone showed me this image, saying it mentions the rumor of Paul's return. Does it?

I hope I am not putting this in the wrong location. I do not know whether or not this is true. Might just be a rumor, but I expect there are folks around here who would know for certain what plans Paul makes. I would guess he would be headlining the event if true. I never thought that David and Paul were very close friends. More like acquaintances. Paul moved in different circles. Well, hopefully someone knows what's up with this rumor. It's all over the internet.

Hi Carlos! The top half seems to say Paul McCartney: ポール・マッカートニー No idea what the bottom half says though, sorry! Cheers, Andrew.

Thank you, Andrew. Someone else translated it for me like this: In the circled area: Paul McCartney "let's meet this summer"

According to this report, a spokesman has denied that Paul will be petforming at Bowie's tribute concert: http://www.examiner.com/article/mccartney-spokesman-dismisses-rumor-that-beatle-may-sing-at-bowie-tribute

IF he actually was there, and IF he could still sing high notes (well I guess he could use falsetto or someone else could do the high stuff) he should do Fame in honor of both Bowie and John.

Seemed a bit too soon for me. Glad it's not true, actually.

According to the Examiner article, the anonymous spokesman said that Paul will not be performing... but who knows? The concert is still a couple of months away, after all.

According to the same article, the organizers claim that they had been working on the concert for the past 7 months. Maybe some Bowie fans know more about it.
-
No, I meant that McCartney and Jagger's sudden involvement seemed too soon.

Oh, I see. Maybe someone started the rumor hoping that Paul and Mick would become interested?

When we have to expect some announces or more confirmed rumours about 2016 tour or countries which he have negotiations with?
