New Jersey Date Confirmed August 7 - East Rutherford, NJ - MetLife Stadium Paul McCartney has confirmed that his hotly anticipated, brand new 'One On One' tour will be coming to New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, home to the New York Football Giants and the New York Jets. On August 7, Paul will return to New Jersey for the first time in 14 years for one night only. This will be the only tri-state area stop for the leg of this new 'One On One' tour, which promises to unveil a dazzling re-designed set, dozens of classics from the most beloved catalog in popular music, spanning Paul's entire career--as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle--and no shortage of surprises.

This has to stop.. Haha.. I'm in south jersey .. Talk about saturation - I think I'll pick two - what a GREAT problem to have!!!
-
Bob-beers on me that night! I work in Secaucus right across the street!
-
Are we thinking this is probably going to "count" for his NYC gig as well? After Hershey & Philly together anything is possible...but just seems unlikely for him to do an NYC venue after this.

I would say this is why no NYC, 80,000 plus seat football stadium

Will probably do soundcheck package for NJ

I have a feeling we will find out the remaining dates today prior to the start of tonight's opener
-
Good to know. Nothing coming up in NYC. Still holding out for DC...hopefully by the end of the week...or end of the day!

True about not playing within the state limits of New Jersey.... but it's not like he didn't play the Barclays Center for two shows in 2013, a mere 15 miles from Metlife Stadium. or if you were lucky, Irving Plaza 2015 (10.5 miles from Metlife Stadium) or Yankee Stadium 2011.... (13.1 miles from MetLife Stadium) or Citi Field 2009.... (22 miles from MetLife Stadium) etc

Nothing new about anywhere except US?

Except I live 55-60 miles south of that....Simply hasn't played in NJ in 14 years. Yes, I have gone to all of the NYC shows but it's not the same as a show in your home state
-
Heck...after all this I wouldn't be surprised by a Baltimore date! If Hershey is possible, anything is possible!
-
Bob-is 8/7 the August opener?
-
Wow, an unexpectedly busy day today!

So we're pretty sure there won't be anything in NYC then, at least for this leg? I remember Citi Field rumors a while ago but given MetLife Stadium's size and its close proximity to Citi Field, this doesn't seem to be the case? -Rubber Soul13

So, he's doing 2 in Pennsylvania, with other East coast venues within a few hours drive apart, yet only ONE in the entire large state of California? Hardly seems fair.
