Weird to play in Cleveland two nights...not exactly one of the major markets for selling out multiple nights, is it? :
Could lead to some last-minute, day of show floor seats for $69 like Vancouver had.

Tickets must be selling like hot cakes!
He hasn't been there in nearly fifteen years... I can believe it. I'm surprised a second night wasn't added for DC.
Also could mean sales weren't brisk enough.

Being that he hasn't been there for 14 years, that could be a factor.

Me thinks that's exactly what it was!

So 8/15 may be the last if it didn't disappear

Weird that face value upper level seats for DC are $125. No wonder they're not selling that fast... August seems to be a pretty relaxed month for him. Maybe he's realizing he's biting off more than he can chew? 30 gigs in one go?

Imagine if he went somewhere that he hasn't been for 23 years!

Last on this leg, last on One On One Tour, or last in a lifetime?

Imagine that! I'd love to see Paul come to Australia and have a holiday in our beautiful part of the world

True, but he did play Columbus, OH last year, which looks like only a 2-hour drive from Cleveland. (he played Columbus twice in 2005 too). He also did a couple songs in Cleveland last year at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony, if that counts at all.

That doesn't count! It was a performance but short and not a concert, plus tickets were not easy to get.

Exactly. There were no options under $100 after fees. It's criminal. What's even crazier is that it's the same case for Ringo here at The Warner Theatre in June. NOTHING under $100 after fees. This is the first all-starr tour I'm missing since I've been seeing him in '08. I cannot justify that much money for literally the same exact show and band I've laready seen in '12, '14, & '15.

Well, not exactly. Two of the cheapest price range are $150 + $40 fees...

During the AmEx pre-sale my friend and I bought nosebleed tix for DC for $125.00 plus $17.75 fees each. Now on the map the same section shows tix cost $173 - $314. That is just crazy.
-
Per my above post, I looked further and all the tix in the section I was looking at are all resell tix. Sure leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Honestly, I think those are overpriced at face value. But the prices up now, are the resale prices. AKA ticketmaster's inside scalpers. The whole thing is such a sham. Every artist, Paul very much included, that stands by and allows their concerts to be sold through Ticketmaster is disrespecting their fans, whether they are aware of this or ignorant to it is a different question.

I doubt Paul or Bruce or Elton get involved at that level. But they should. Paul has a lot of clout. He can say "Make sure tickets get to the fans in as fair a way as possible."

It's the venues that decide what ticketing company to use, not the performers. The venues Paul is playing in Cleveland and Minneapolis don't use Ticketmaster. Most major league baseball stadiums such as Fenway Park in Boston, where he's also playing, use Tickets.com. Of course, Paul can decide to play only venues that don't use TM, but that would limit him as to where he could perform. Remember years ago when Pearl Jam tried to boycott Ticketmaster? Didn't work for them.
