Paul McCartney 2016 Rumors
-
Hey, there's Boston!! Was starting to get worried that things had changed!!
-
If 8/15 is still in play, I don't think Paul ever played here!
-
Will be away again this weekend!
-
What's wrong with this picture? 2 in Pennsylvania 2 in Ohio Only 1 in California
-
That's one more than Australia and they'd kill just to get one show after 23 years

I'm assuming the rest are all Eastern cities as well?

Because California is getting the October 8th show in Indio, it seems. That would knock out the LA, San Diego and Orange County market. If the organizers are confident it is going forward, they may start dropping hints after Coachella this weekend. I don't think any official announcement until late May at the earlist, as The Who still have their Southern California shows then and they still have tickets to sell for those.

This is really far fetched... But could it be Morgantown, WV (The WVU Coliseum?)

If 8/15 magically turns out to be Baltimore I may actually lose my mind.

I know East Coast wasn't specified...but it seems to be this half of the country at least that's getting the attention...what other cities come to mind that Paul would likely visit, but never has? Although, after Hershey I suppose the term "likely" should be removed from that question...

Wichita, Kansas is east of California.

I predicted Boston ha (wrong on Pittsburgh) puppywhimpers wrote: 7/17-Boston 8/10-DC night 2 8/15-Pittsburgh 8/18-Cleveland night 2 my guesses This northeast tour reminds me of when The Grateful Dead toured; they would do a leg just in the Northeast because that is the most populated area in the country and shows always sold out

Roger Daltrey has confirmed the festival in California http://www.theguardian.com/music/2016/apr/21/roger-daltrey-confirms-megafestival-the-who-rolling-stones-bob-dylan-paul-mccartney-coachella

This may be the reason that Paul only played one date in Cali. There must be an exclusivity clause in the contract. I read each act is getting $7M

If true tickets will not be cheap. But I will try to be there even if I have to prostitute myself.
