I believe if we all(everyone on the board) sent in one question..it would get everyones attention(Mods as well as Paul) The point here is to get an answer..even if it is a collective question. What one question would most here really want to know? I for one would like to know "What amount of the decision making do you have in the places you will tour and ticket pricing?"
You see. jenny Haydon..I have thought of that. But I got NO response! :

I liked the question and answer.

IMO- Don't do it at all if you are going to do one question a month. Really, the answer to the question might have taken maybe 30 seconds of his time - lol. Maybe I presumed to much and actually thought McCartney might answer a question about his music. Silly of me and others to think we might actually get his thoughts on his career. Bowie and Jagger have not been active in years and that is totally different than McCartney. Finally, if you think McCartney's quick answer to a question is "interacting" with his fans, then I guesss we just disagree.
Gee...you sure are expending a lot of anger and energy on something that is really unimportant. Paul doesn't have to do this at all you know. Why should it bother you so much what question he decides to answer? I thought it was a brilliant question. You're just like some others who think Paul owes you something. Well...he don't owe you nothing!

I agree with you Michelley. I like his answer although I thought he might have add John in there too and yes it is like a Redbud answer.

I am fully aware that McCartney does not owe me anything. If you think that is a brillant question to ask a legendary rock star and one of the greatest songwriters of all time well so be it. I am not the only one who thought it was pretty lame BTW, several other posters made fun of it also.

How can anyone actually get angry about this? Seriously? It's just a quirky little feature. (shrugs) They never said he was going to answer 10 questions. He was just supposed to answer one, right? Anyway, I liked the question and his answer -- both for what he said and what he didn't say. It's interesting to me that, here's a man who's lived 10 lives in his lifetime and done all sorts of things and has far more of everything (love, money, possessions) than any one person needs, and of all the places and times he could have chosen to return to, he picked the one thing in his life that he didn't get enough of, and the one person closest to him whom he no doubt has few memories of. Good answer. Kind of a Rosebud answer if you know what I mean. People presume too much, I think, about this feature. Makes me wonder if it wouldn't be better for him to be like Mick Jagger, Bowie, and all the others and never interact with fans at all because all he gets is grief when he does.
I agree with you overall. While the "time machine" question would not have been my first choice, Paul's response wholly justified it.

BTW - Look back at the posts on this subject and I complimented you on one of the questions you asked, actually all of your questions were quite good and much better than the one selected IMO.

Kinda nice question ,,, but would have been nice if he could have expanded elaborated a bit more....
-
I thought it was a good question. Anyone who knows Paul's history shouldn't be surprised at the answer. His Mom would be thrilled with the answer.
-
The past two moths I have asked tonnes of questions. One can dream!
-
Dear Sir Paul, do you like bacon sandwiches?

Completely hear hear. Thought his answer was absolutely lovely. He just doesn't seem able to do anything right by some folks.

It was a sweet answer, but if I was him and had a time machine I'd try to prevent people from dying (in his mum & Linda's case--get them checked out years before they were diagnosed, and in John's case, alert the police that that guy in front of the Dakota loitering has a gun!!--Personally, I'd like to shoot him dead before he even gets near John!) In actuality, I'd go back and save my 11 year old cousin from being hit & killed by a drunk driver in 1962 (she made the mistake of stopping in the middle of the road to tie her shoe)

completely agree, Michelley. BTW, I like the answer & question. I thought the answer was sad, heartfelt, honest and sweet (and short lol)

His was a sweet sincere reply, but I too wish he'd answer ten questions a month instead of one That would make this new feature loads more exciting
