Paul's upcoming album review they say its HOT!

got this via Fans On The Run.. via Sarah F.. via via Some lucky members of the media got to attend a listening party for Paul's new album yesterday at Bonnaroo! Including this guy. He's sharing his thoughts on FB ~~~~~~~~ 'seriously, this is his best in years. hard rockers and one that's even reminiscent of Penny Lane. Comparing to the endless list of musicians who have tried their hand at Mac's sound, it's amazing to hear that Paul not only still has it, but is still inventing the wheel while doing so.' NICE!

Can't wait!

Too bad he is not giving fans a preview on his current tour , especially hard rockers. Oh well !!!

i will believe it when i hear it... sorry not a fan of the last fireman thingy.
-
I sincerely hope this time they are songs that will play on the radio. I miss hearing Paul on the radio, especially with all the crap you have to weed through.
-
Sounds pretty sweet! I cannot wait for the new album, and am hoping that he will do another tour to promote it.
-
Whoa! This is great news! Sounds like the new album will finally be out before long. Can't wait!
-
Curious to know if he used the touring band, other session musos or played most instruments himself. Probably a mix of all those.

Same here. I havn't forgotten how 'Off The Ground' was being described before its release as being "Paul's best album since the 'white album!" yeah, right :

Except Paul's "people" just as quickly said it never happened. What to believe? I want it to be described as..."His best ever!!!!" That is something I would glob onto in a nanosecond!!!! This "best in years" doesn't do it for me!

Typically, reviewers who say 'It's his best album in years' haven't actually listened to a McCartney album....in years.

Now why doesn't that surprise me?

It seems this never happened. That's pretty sad if this is BS, and was started by one of the Fans On The Run crowd. I'd like to think they wouldn't be into deliberately duping us.

Trust me. This most certainly did happen. The "reviewer" is a radio host in Louisville, and also has his own syndicated show called The Weekly Feed. But, he's also a great friend of mine and I assure you he's not making this up. Here's the link where he mentions the album. He also addresses someone questioning whether or not this really happened. http://www.facebook.com/KyleMeredith?fref=ts

That may be typical, but not the case here. The "reviewer" is a music director/radio host and also a fan of Paul's. He's up to date on Paul's collection of work, including his most "recent" albums. I only happen to know this because I know him. I, for one, am SO EXCITED to hear this album in the fall!!!
