Paul's upcoming album review they say its HOT!
-
If it definitely happened (and I have no reason to think you're not telling the truth Furlow) it would be nice if he could post a couple of the song titles (not Hosannah and Life Of the Party Girl that have alrady been mentioned in interviews with the producers) and give a bit more info about each track. Anything he might remember. He DID say on Facebook that the people who listened to the album were allowed to talk about it, so no reason to hold back.

It seems this never happened. That's pretty sad if this is BS, and was started by one of the Fans On The Run crowd. I'd like to think they wouldn't be into deliberately duping us.
Trust me. This most certainly did happen. The "reviewer" is a radio host in Louisville, and also has his own syndicated show called The Weekly Feed. But, he's also a great friend of mine and I assure you he's not making this up. Here's the link where he mentions the album. He also addresses someone questioning whether or not this really happened. http://www.facebook.com/KyleMeredith?fref=ts

"PHEW!"

Why would Paul's people deny this happened if it really did?

Surely, he's not the only one who heard it. You all need to find others who have heard it as well. How about the Mods here, maybe they were allowed to hear it. Anyway, get busy People - find others.

FINALLY! I've heard he is including the unreleased Wings song, "Love Take Me Down (To The Streets)" on the album. Not sure why, but I will take it. Perhaps he re-recorded it with Brian, Rusty, Abe, Wix and Randy Newman?

Doesn't sound like McCartney or Wings to my ears.

This sounds more like Paul: http://a21.video4.blip.tv/2600001447366/DarthPaul-DevilMayCare943.mp3?ri=4023&rs=536

Yes, I think in this case we need to have confirmation from other people who have heard or heard of the "event."

With respect, after waiting 5 years or more for a killer album, I'd be very disappointed if this pedestrian song made the final cut - re-recorded or not! It doesn;t even sound like Paul.

Exactly. You'd think IF it happened it was designed to engender some buzz...

Strange then nobody else is talking about it.

i will believe it when i hear it...
Same here. I havn't forgotten how 'Off The Ground' was being described before its release as being "Paul's best album since the 'white album!" yeah, right :
I think they also mentioned a song that will remind you of the Abbey Road medley - I'm going to assume they meant 'C'mon People'....but if so, I can't agree with that at all (despite the fact that I do like the song very much) - there are no other songs on Off the Ground that even remotely reminds me of Abbey Road

Who is denying it happened?

Supposedly a spokesman for Paul via The Beatles Exmainer (I think). Not that spokespeople necessarily always tell the truth...

The song is complete rubbish.

Yep, no getting around it.

So there is no other news about this...anywhere? Seems unlikely if it really happened! :

I know, Randy

Typically, reviewers who say 'It's his best album in years' haven't actually listened to a McCartney album....in years.
And since it's been years since he released a (pop) album, that would be his best (pop) album since...the last one! BaDaBing!
