Recently a young friend of mine was trying to get me into John Mayer, and said he would make a compilation for me to listen to - so I agreed on the proviso that I did a McCartney one for him. I picked one song from each of his solo albums, and this was the result: Maybe I?m Amazed Too Many People Coming Up Ballroom Dancing So Bad No More Lonely Nights Pretty Little Head We Got Married Off the Ground If You Wanna Back in the Sunshine Again Jenny Wren Only Mama Knows Queenie Eye What would you have chosen?

Well, essentially all of his post Beatles albums were solo albums, so too many possible songs are being left off the lists. It would have to be a double album.

Would it be possible to please list which albums you are referring to? Sorry, not sure on which ones you are referring to... Thanks! or is it everything post Beatles and Cold Cuts and Bootlegs too? I might have to have a double album a very difficult thing for only 14

Maybe I?m Amazed (McCartney) Too Many People (Ram) Coming Up (McCartney II) Ballroom Dancing (Tug of War) So Bad (Pipes of Peace) No More Lonely Nights (Give My Regards to Broadstreet) Pretty Little Head (Press to Play) We Got Married (Flowers in the Dirt) Off the Ground (Off the Ground) If You Wanna (Flaming Pie) Back in the Sunshine Again (Driving Rain) Jenny Wren (Chaos and Creation) Only Mama Knows (Memory Almost Full) Queenie Eye (New) I don't think of the Wings albums as solo efforts really. Growing up, they were a band to me, rather than just McCartney's musicians.

Well, I would have to put Calico Skies from Flaming Pie and Appreciate from NEW instead of your choices. Agree with most of the others.
