http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/amas-2015-taylor-swift-leads-831604 COLLABORATION OF THE YEAR UN-LEASHED BY T-MOBILE Wiz Khalifa Featuring Charlie Puth ?See You Again?\ Rihanna & Kanye West Featuring Paul McCartney ?FourFiveSeconds? Mark Ronson Featuring Bruno Mars ?Uptown Funk!? Skrillex & Diplo Featuring Justin Bieber ?Where Are Ü Now? Taylor Swift Featuring Kendrick Lamar ?Bad Blood?
I can't remember the last "collaboration" I actually enjoyed. "Under Pressure", probably. Oh, and whilst not an original, "Good Times" by INXS and Jimmy Barnes. Surely I've missed some over the years. Certainly many that are better than Four Five Seconds.

I always figured this was a collaboration between just Paul and Kanye but I noticed on Wikipedia that there are seven(!) additional credited writers on the song. Now I understand that in Kanye's genre, it's not uncommon for samples to be used, therefore the creators of those samples will be credited as songwriters. But this is a fairly simple song and Paul rarely collaborates. Is there a breakdown as to what all these guys contributed? I just find it hard to believe all of them could have made substantial contributions to this song.

Macca's last top 5 hit in the states. Too bad it didn't hit #1. I would like to see Paul hit #1 one last time before he's done.

I was surprised that it did hit top 5. Since this has been resurrected, I heard somewhere that Wilson Phillips is somewhere on background vocals. Between that, Paul McCartney co writing, playing guitar, being on the song with Rihanna and Kanye; this song is starting to rival it's only rock and roll in terms of people on it. ð???

Personally I think its all a bit desperate and clutching at straws to start referring to FourFiveSeconds as Paul's last top 5 hit. Ok, so he co-wrote it and appears on it, but then he wrote and appears on Mary Hopkin's Goodbye single but no one refers to that as being Paul's 4th (or whatever it was) top 5 single of 1969. Appearing on other artists releases is totally different to his own releases and really shouldn't be compared.

I don't throw that word around [laughs]. I think he's a great artist. Take My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. I played it when I was cooking, and it was like, "This is good. There's some really innovative stuff." When the word came from his people, through my people [laughs], I thought, "Let's give it a go."

Well, Paul is listed as a performer, just like Ebony and Ivory, Say Say say, and The Girl is Mine, and unlike Goodbye. Paul made significant contributions to the song and deserved credit. He wrote the music, plays the instruments, provided backing vocals and appeared in the video. Just because it's a collaboration don't exclude it from being considered a Paul single.

This song has much more meaning to me via Paul's live version....way much more so than the studio version
