Only One- new song by Kanye West, featuring Paul

'All Day' by Kanye West is HERE, the banger of the year:
,) finally... released, check out 4:17. Intense outro! -
LOL...introduced at the Britts & since most of the lyrics had to be censored the veiwing public had little idea what was going on. The Britts were last week or the week before weren't they? "Last night at the BRITs, Kanye West performed his brand new single 'All Day' accompanied by a selection of the biggest names in grime and British hip-hop. The only problem was most of the TV audience couldn't hear a single thing. The reason is that ITV - concerned that younger viewers raised on a constant diet of DatPiff profanity and mobile Pornhub - might be corrupted by some bad language. The second most talked about performance of the evening (after that Madonna fall) had so much to recommend it."

Yes, here's an article on that: http://www.nme.com/blogs/nme-blogs/kanye-wests-censored-brits-performance-wasnt-a-mishap-it-was-a-powerful-cultural-protest This is the climax after a long build-up, after the leaked studio snippet, the fan remakes and the live version. And here it is. The full song is out now. And it's insane. With McCartney incorporating a classic melody, just before going in on a trap beat in full AutoTune trolling mode. Boom, right in their faces!

Intense is right! Well, all the people who wanted to hear Paul's voice on these recordings finally get their wish. So yes, the melody of his whistling is from his unreleased Rupert the Bear tune "When The Wind Is Blowing." "All Day" is definitely catchy and seems destined to be a hit, but I definitely can't see myself singing along to the Kanye part. Oh my!

Did Paul get up onstage to do his part at the Britts when it was played live? I doubt it. This is just another Kanye song. At least the song with Rihanna is catchy. Here's his lyrics... http://www.gigwise.com/news/98432/kanye-west-all-day-lyrics-revealed-after-brit-awards-2015

But the last minute of the studio version is all Paul, from the whistling through the vocals afterwards. http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/03/kanye-west-unveils-studio-version-of-all-day-listen/

I never said he did. I'm saying that this song is not just another Kanye song, because Paul is all over the studio version in the last minute, and Paul's melody is used in the background of the song played on the keyboard.

So Paul actually sings on the new song! He sounds kinda good Autotuned!!
-
Can't believe Paul is using his wonderful unreleased melody from Ram for this. At least now maybe we'll get "When The Wind is Blowing" released in its original form at some point.
-
Everyone is talking about the whistling, but no mention of the lyrics at the end. Is it confirmed to be McCartney? It does sound like him.

It sure does. I'd be shocked if it's not him. The song is not my cup of tea, but ...
-
Lyrically vapid and divisive... Hey, I am a fan of Sade, um.... so good to hear her mentioned.... I think... I haven't worked out yet whether that was a good thing or a bad thing ... Hey, I would've liked to hear it with perhaps some kind of lyrical punch/meaning..... not a fan of the style of the music at all, obviously, but had I heard it with lyrics that weren't so obviously designed to "create a storm", I'd be able to give a more objective account. As it is, the lyrics are bordering on juvenile and offensive, and I am not a fan of him using the more persistent word in the song. Perhaps if the lyrics were better orchestrated, I might've been able to try and appreciate, at the least, the beat and attempted melody inherent with the offering. I walk away from Mr. Kardashian once more disappointed and disillusioned.

Paul's song slapped on at the end...When the Wing is Blowing.

I could not even listen to the song long enough to get to Paul's part. Since Im a newbie I will refrain from climbing on my soapbox. But I will say dang how many times is Kanye going to use the N word. I will leave it at that.

As a McCartney fan, I will end up getting this, as well as whatever comes out with him on Kanye's album, but I have to admit this isn't one I'll be listening to a whole lot. Actually, I may end up just making my own edit, just to get Paul's part. I have a feeling Kanye's album is going to come out any day now (he has confirmed it's going to be a surprise release). At that point, I'll take a look at Paul's involvement and decide whether to buy individual tracks or the whole thing.

You mean the composition McCartney used to incorporate with his co-write 'All Day' by Kanye West. It's used in the intro/hook as well.

I'm with you! Is there someplace where you can actually fast-forward to the end part where Paul whistles and sings?

"Song" pretty much says it all.
