Columbia, SC - Colonial Life Arena - June 25, 2015 - ARCHIVE

Na. I've been front row for $60 and 4th row for $250 before. Not paying $250 for 23rd row. Just not.
-
Until he stops with the whole VIP thing and reserving the whole half of the front rows for doctors and lawyers who can afford $2000 a piece, I'm afraid my days of seeing McCartney are over. That's a pathetic way to charge people.
-
Well I had better luck than I thought I would. Got 106 about half way up. I really thought if I got any it would be in the back. Probabally would have done better if I had know what I was doing. I was refreshing the page thinking the tickets for sale page would come up and then I finally realized I had to put my email in. Oh well, I'm happy anyway!

My friends Fran and Maggie want to go to Macca's in Columbia with me-- but then again, might decide they can only go to the Stones concert in Raleigh on July 1 , they want me to go to that too but I can only afford one, if I can even afford Paul's, found out even the "nosebleeds" are sort of high (in more ways than one) I'm not currently employed. I really should try to swing this Fran said we sure as s---t should have seen Elton John in Fayetteville recently--her sister Margo went and called it just fantastic, so super, he played for three hours and the big screen showed his hands all gnarled and knotted up with arthritis, Margo said, and still he pounded those keys to the utmost almost all evening and was spectacular.

Website says "Both dates mark the first time Paul has performed in either city." Was Williams Brice Stadium in 1993 just a blur to the McCartney management?
I said that in another thread. Apparently they forgot Paul performed in Columbia in '93!
Or that it was TELEVISED!

Columbia was televised?? Aren't you thinking of Charlotte, North Carolina, which was definitely televised?

Fiance gets back from a trip that day. If he misses a flight, it would be a no go. What to do.
Get tickets.
erg! I found 2 flights under $350 the would get back home to CAE in time, but his boss wants to wait a week to get tickets. Watch him change dates. Annoying because we could walk to the venue from his place.
You must get the tickets!!! I'm from Columbia and will be out of the country when Paul comes. I am so distressed I can't tell you. But happy that my friends are able to go.
When he came to Orlando in 2013, I was on a plane the day before, then the Tulsa show was the day after I left there.

pretty good tickets came up just now.

Any ideas how they release the VIP tickets? I keep getting the same seats over and over. I'm wondering if that means they won't put out more until these are taken? Or somehow the browser recognizes its me (same IP address) and keeps showing me the same seats so I'm not seeing anything else? Or is that really all they are putting out right now? Or is that all period?

The computer will keep showing you those because they are the next ones in the system that are available for sale. Until somebody (you or someone else) buys them, then a different set will show up.

Thanks - that is helpful information.

Anyone know how the seats are numbered on the floor? We got row 4, section C (Center I am presuming) seats 22-24. Seems like an awfully long row!!
-
So this is strange. I did the pre sale and came out with Sec. 114 Row 14 Seats 9-10. Just for fun, I tried the public onsale right at 10 this morning and most of the seats were Sections 104 and 116, so that was a relief knowing I had good seats in comparison. I got home around 6:30 and tried again for fun, and the website had Section 113 Row 8 Seats 5-6. I bought those and decided to put the old ones on stub hub. Did they release tickets after the initial onsale this morning? Not complaining but just a weird process.

I was seeing front left section seats in the 40s, but right side was absent. I was wondering if they were holding back the right side or had already unloaded it.

Is it sold out yet?
-
It's a beautiful looking arena, its external ediface, but inside looks like a big basketball stage in the middle surrounded on all sides--what if you're behind them and also behind the big screens, would they actually seat people there? the place looks gigantic, yet claims everyone would get a good view.

I checked a couple of days ago and could still get two seats together in the pricey range.

No. The $250 and $165 seats.
